There is joy in heaven over one sinner that repents.

God is a merciful God.No matter how far you might have gone in your sins if you sincerely and wholeheartedly repent of your sins and turned to him for forgiveness and accept Lord Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour ,He will abundantly forgives you and give you the grace to go and sin no more.

They usually repent as they are in confined space with freedom denied. But once the regain freedom and breathe fresh air the will reset to their usual.
