I recently told a MAGA Republican that, with all due respect, I couldn't give a shit about anything they claim to believe because they've all proven that they don't really believe in any of it.

Obviously, they didn't take too kindly to my blunt remarks, but I couldn't care less.

I don't want to hear from any of these people about what they claim to believe when they've proven, over and over again, that they'll say one thing today, then completely contradict themselves tomorrow — and they'll do it shamelessly.

I'm not going to waste my time listening to Trump supporters claim to care about this or be outraged by that, then jump through hoops making excuses for this orange idiot when he does exactly what they said they opposed or were against.

They all lost their minds when oil hit $100 a barrel and gas prices reached $4 under Joe Biden due to a war he had nothing to do with. Nearly every gas pump I went to had one of those “I did that” stickers depicting Biden pointing to the price of gasoline.

Yet when Trump starts the war that leads to $100-a-barrel oil and $4 gas, now they're okay with that and making excuses for him.

F*ck off.

For years, Trump and every Republican who supported him claimed that everyone from Barack Obama to Hillary Clinton to Joe Biden to Kamala Harris would lead us to war with Iran — but Trump never would, and that's why we support him!

Funny thing is, Obama never took us to war with Iran. Neither did Biden — but Trump sure as hell has.

But that's okay, they have more excuses for that, too.

I'm not even going to go too deep into their fake Christianity. Nearly every day, Trump proves that he's the antithesis of everything that's truly Christian — including recently celebrating the passing of a veteran and invoking the dead wife of a former member of his administration to try to slander their character. I've said it plenty of times: you cannot be a Trump supporter and legitimately call yourself a real Christian. The two are not reconcilable.

The list is seemingly endless.

They cared about inflation until it's still high under Trump, now they're okay with it.

They cared about the national debt until Trump's added to it at a record pace, now they're fine with it.

They were against corruption until we see some of the most blatant corruption in our government we've ever seen by this president, now it's fine.

They were against “waste, fraud, and abuse,” but then make excuses for Kash Patel when he abused his position by fraudulently claiming he was going on a business trip to Italy so he could waste tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars to go party with the men's hockey team.

They were all about releasing the Epstein files and going after child predators until Trump ordered his DOJ to cover up those files to protect those predators. All the while, the only person mentioned more in those files than this president is Jeffrey Epstein. Now, they aren't too concerned about going after and locking up people who abuse children.

They threw fits when Obama went golfing, but are okay with Trump golfing more in five years than Obama did in eight.

They wanted Hillary Clinton thrown in prison for how she handled emails while she was Secretary of State, but didn't have a problem with Trump stealing Top Secret documents and storing them in bathrooms and basements at his golf club, completely unsecured and not at all protected.

The list of the bullshit they all claim to care about is seemingly endless — until Trump does it, and then all they do is make excuses.

So, no, I don't give a damn what any Trump supporter has to say about any particular issue because they don't really believe in anything.

And if they want people to show them more respect, then they have to earn it by first requiring Donald Trump, the person they worship, to actually show them some respect.

Because there's no way he says and does the things he does, which make his supporters look like complete idiots trying to defend him, if he has even the slightest bit of respect for any of them.
