You referenced the fall of naira that was brought about by Tinubu and for your mind you think you are defending him?
And what context are you referring to? Every borrowing in dollars is a naira equivalent of what needed to be achieved. Besides, I'm not paying tasks in dollars so cut the crap.
Also, when you claimed subsidy was removed to give Nigeria more money, then you went on borrowing sphere, something fundamental is wrong with you and your supporters.

When you have external debt, they're evaluated in USD. When I borrow USD from the bank, they evaluate my debt in USD and When I borrow NGN, it's evaluated in NGN.

Someone who has changed his opinion about the current president because of stomach infrastructure? Reno has no integrity like Bwala. Both of them are suppose to be in the dungeon.

Not saying someone cannot change his/her position on things. But do not forget the length Reno went to!! He is not suppose to have any public position, but Nigeria is ran by a dysfunctional system, these are the kind of people you see in public places with power!

All this are just paper clearing.

Scenario: i met a debt of 10bn USD when the rate was 400naira, Thats a 4 Trillion naira debt. If i borrow another 10bn usd (4 trillion) total debt in naira becomes 8 trillion (20bn usd). Then after a while i just float the naira to 1600.

Total debt in naira 8 trillion (100% increase)
Total debt in usd 5billion Usd (75% reduction)


Did i clear 15bn? The fact remains that i borrowed more but took advantage of exchange rate gains for presentation purposes. I will still pay the increased 8 trillion to be able to settle just "5bn" usd

We should be reading our debt on NTA in Naira not USD.
2. Tinubu is 100 percent responsible for USD rising from 400 to 1500.
He should take full responsibility for it.

No sir. The subsidy removal was not only to stop borrowing. It's to free up money for other developmental projects. If all monies realized is used to pay debt, states would still be owing salaries, infrastructure deficit that we experienced for so many years all over the federation would not have been attended to.

If you have property that was valued in 2023 and in 2026 you valued again would you on face value say that the property has appreciated? The answer is no. You have to discount today's value by the rate of inflation to 2023. Then you will know the true appreciation. This is how valuation, economics and cost accounting work.
