With what we are seeing in the country today, mhen, I really commend and appraise Dr. GoodLuck Jonathan. He was a great leader and Man. Honest no be by Gra Gra.

I remember my 1st Salary as a Field maintenance engineer for Telecom based stations in 2012 - 85,000 per amount. Mhen, Life was good.

Looking at the Stats of Nigerian presidents and their regime, you will do nothing but praise Jonathan. All the evil some people did to Jonathan, it has bounced back on their heads, no wonder nothing they do progresses, instead they inflict more pain and pain. See some stats below 👇

Buhari inherited an economy that was already failing in quote for several months.

The reason why the power supply does not work is because GEJ signed a privatizaiton law that prevented them from setting their prices. See the result. (Buhari and tinubu maintained the law).

Also, the man failed to fight corruption, and also refused to commot subsidy totally, because he wanted to get elected. Same reasoning tinubu is using now to refuse to remove electricity subsidy.

The day you realize all our leaders from independence to date are the same in that government revenue comes from whatever raw mateiral we sell, not taxes and what we produce by industries for export, is the day you go stop saying God bless GEJ.

The basis of Yaradua economy was sustained high oil prices above 145 dollars per barrel. And Yaradua saving money like Ebenezer scrooge .

But other wise, Yaradua didn't do much to imrpove the economy.

Like, did manufacturing improve , i mean manufacturing for export? Na so we dey import and import and import under the man, and it got worse under GEJ.

A good leader would be one who makes the country use its resources to make goods for the world to use.

South Korea used to be far behind many African countries. Now they are ahead because their leaders prioritsed using their resources to make exportable goods. Same thing with China that lends us money, as at 1973, their per capita GDP was less than some African countries.

The issue with most African countries is that they are resource dependent. From 2007-11, copper prices were high in Zambia. So high that poor people were building house. Then the price crashed and whala start.

The problems APC Has are due to oil crashing. Just like the problems we had from 1983-2007. Oil prices crashed and borrowing increased.

It does not mean APC Is better. Had APC diversifed the economy from day one in power, and had they spent time and effort trying to develop an enabling environment for industrial growth, by now they could have been doing better than GEJ. But APC choose to borrow to maintain the lie that we were a nation of riches. Even now, they still borrow.

If oil prices stay high, tinubu supporters go come tell us their man is doing well. Na fake rise.

Serious economies are economies wey dey use their resources to make useful stuff for the global market. That is why Korea, Japan, China and so forth are better than our country. And all these countries used to send millions of their citizens abroad like we are doing now, until they learned this lesson.

You people with all your dysfunctional comparative analysis.....the minimum wage to pms price wasn't the real value pre tinubu, previous govts were paying subsidies so if you were to factor what givt was paying thats when you get the real value.... you must also remember that they all were complaining subsidy wasn't sustainable and they all attempted to end it.
