Keke rider who bought fuel of N5000 to startup the daily hustle, after exhausting it, he wanted to do a refill, after counting all the money he made from the N5000 fuel so that he can do refill of same amount, He discovered that it is N50 that was remaining.

A lot of people prefer to walk now because there is no money

it's even easier because you only have to increase your rates and you'll be fine. The people that suffers most are the bottom dwellers in the social Stratus
Wouldn't that translate to reduced demand?

Adjust to where? Every part of this country is facing one challenge or the other. This is the sector of keke we are talking about now, if we hear of another sector your head fit burst. No place is safe
. You increase the price. All the routes here in Port Harcourt have increased fares.

As a formal keke rider that you are you are not saying the truth, you guys make good money but greed put some of these keke guys in this situation.

He bought fuel 5k at AA Rano that 3liters, now from that spot to jakpa junction is now 150 if he sees a passenger that say please take 100 e no go gree he will drive that keke empty with picking anybody to jakpa junction there by wasting his 3 liter fuel and loosing 100 naira he continues this cycle till full go finish then he will say its Tinubu.
The aboki keke riders understand the business very well out own people riding keke are too greedy the are ready to fight you cos of N10 self and their keke are worn-out (old) but aboki you go see them with neat and sound keke

Me na aboki keke I dey enter i no fit enter keke wen go stain my polo.

Bro,I understand you. But the truth is that these guys aren't having good times right now.

Besides, the problem is not adjusting,or even increasing your price but are the passengers willing to adjust or move along with the new price? Even among them as the keke riders, there are saboteurs who will be willing to even transport Passengers on a lower against the new agreed price, and not move along with the new prices as agreed by themselves.

So the problem here is the fact that even among themselves as Keke riders, they don't have one voice and they're mostly disunited, which is making it very difficult for them to make profits at times like this.[/quote]

Nigerians can easily adapt to any situation. We will soon get used to it and it will appear as if nothing happened.

So sad. I hope the president with the greedy oil traders are reading these comments. Jesus had Nigerians in mind when he told the story of the rich man and Lazarus.

That was just the bad day. He should tell us how much he normally make on good day

Btw, how did he exhaust N5,000 fuel. Was he just roaming around looking for passenger on a fuel he bought at expensive price.
That is the only explaination.

Trekking is a very good exercise especially if its not under the scorching sun. If your house is not up to 200mile, why not just walk. At old age, you will have strong legs to carry your body weight.

But a lot of people who cannot trek are still entering KEKE. and even if you want to trek. Not all routes are trekable. So those routes they usually trek. KEKE should not be running there and stick to a longer route that people cannot trek. Also, if demand falls, then the number of KEKE on the road has to reduce too.

Just 5k a day!

I want to leave the topic and ask a different question.

How much do you think is enough for an adult to earn in a day in business or salary job.
Just how much will be reasonable to earn in a day?

If you don't have idea, you can skip it.
Precious201010:
the high price of fuel is affecting bolt and Uber more than the normal Keke and taxis.... Let me tell U why...

As an Uber or bolt driver, you're not the one to fix the price, bolt refused to increase price despite the high cost of petrol... And yet they are still collecting almost 30 percent commission from drivers... If I carry a drop of 4,200, bolt will charge me around 1,600 as a commission...

But Keke or normal taxi is not like that.. U carry according to the current development, and U also apply wisdom, work during the rush hours.. 7:am-10:30 then in the afternoon join line and wait for Ur turn in order to preserve Ur fuel, then around 3:pm hit the road and work till 8:pm.... There's no way 5k fuel will not give U more than extra 5k.... The person is not saying the truth sir..

Maybe he entered Union hand and used part of the money to settle them....

My brother the question is simple, but at the same time not simple.... Some adult makes even millions a day, some hundreds of thousands, some tens of thousands some few notes of thousands while some do go home empty at the end of the day...

So the job description matters a lot... A coaster bus driver and and Okada rider cannot go home with the same amount at the end of work ..

Some people spend 5k in a day to feed, while others 10k cannot fuel their car in a day, and another set lives on less than 5k ..

So the conclusion is to live around Ur income, don't compete with anyone, don't buy what U do not have need for, if are a man avoid women, avoid betting and bad friends... No matter where and how U find yourself, you're definitely better than someone somewhere......

If U are a salary earner learn how to buy things in bulk, once you're paid locate the nearest village market closer to U, buy things that'll carry U for at least 3 weeks... Even when there is no cash, U can still have what to eat at the end of the day.
