Addo is a very lucky coach in that his team the black stars hit form at the right time during the WC qualifiers. Had Ghana qualified for the AFCON they would absolutely have been thrashed which would have led to Otto's sack.

Even in 2022 when they advanced to the WC at our expense they got through on away goals which is no longer in use now, goalkeeping error on our part, and packing the bus basically.
