Lol, Jorge Campos na another one. That one na striker wey dey form GK. Imagine a GK wearing #9 jersey? No be roles mismatch? Lol... I believe he was smaller than 1.70m. Really short guy yet brave.

Campos was eccentric too like Higuita. Well rounded Ball playing and shot stopping goalies but also Hypertension-giving marvels of football. Lol
Campos? Some rules of the game were changed because of that guy including dressing outfits for goalkeepers 😂

Nwabali dey learn for where Higuita dey. Nigerians should be thankful it is not Higuita we have. 😂😂

And yes the scorpion kick is his most iconic football moment. I can see you have shared it already. But do you know he did it again as an oldie in 2025? grin

i don't think Lookman is getting hype he deserves here. When I rank SE players, I place Lookman same level with Osimhen with iwobi a little below.
Nobody stops you from hyping him

grin FIFA would do as they please. maybe appease us.. or hand it to another team from the same confederation? I wouldn't mind us qualifying this way sha. but make nobody put hope. if e happen, e happen.

elyte89:
A rumor suggests that the NFF is exploring an unlikely alternative route for the Super Eagles to qualify for the World Cup. The scenario estimated at around a 2% chance depends on teams like Italy, Denmark, and Turkey winning their playoffs to qualify directly, followed by Iran potentially withdrawing due to the ongoing war. In that case, it is speculated that FIFA could select the highest-ranked available team, possibly Nigeria, as a replacement, based on the assumption that there is no strict rule requiring a withdrawn team to be replaced by another from the same continent.

Yeh, who throw me stone 😩🥲🥲😢😢

Lookman can't be on same level with Osimhen. He's close but not on same level.

Osimhen is far more consistent, dangerous and hardworking. That's undisputable and we all know that.

Imagine Osimhen at Atletico, he will be playing every minute unless the coach decides to rest him when they're leading.

why are you guys triggered when I say a player don't get the hype he deserves, is that not a normal thing. We heard people say certain players don't get the recognition dy deserve or some players are overhyped.
And just to let you know, I don't have 'my player'. I'm for all SE players reppin Nigeria, but some like Lookman, iwobi, Osimhen and Bassey get my attention more. ☺️

Not even all the teams above us qualified to the world cup so if it is even on that basis we cant go.
