That's the goal, though difficult to maintain, but anything below N400/km is a hard pass.

The problem many of you have is not knowing how to weigh risk against benefit. Imagine saving 20k of fuel daily, that’s 120k weekly saving on a 6 days work. How much is the entire car sef that only engine issue will discourage you.

I am currently installing a 90L right now and by tomorrow, my massive savings on fuel will begin.

With 90L, everyday work guarantees 40 to 50k profit. So I ask again, how much is engine again?? Even better when you know that majority of new installers have no single issue. I don’t care about the worst case scenario if I make minimum of 40k daily.

There’s no emotion in business. Ask yourself, will I risk 1 million naira on a business that guarantees 20k daily? Many people will fly into the business even if it’s way riskier.
You mean 90L CNG tank?

This thing na timing and positioning sometimes... Today i even preferred Bolt Comfort becos the surge was much at VGC today but the traffic on that Lekki epe fit burn car head gasket grin

So when i'm parked and i see N700-800 per km rides on indrive i dey off Bolt & Uber pick am o. When i see N370 per km on Indrive i off it and go back to Bolt comfort & Uber(to complete my daily Quest). Na make account balance and smile go house be koko cool

Jst start/set out early, it usually boost morale. So by 10-11am u don make small money/your fuel money. Every other trips will jst be additional and work go don dey body by then
I really don't like island trips. The thing with Uber is u gatz drive around abit while using d app. Asin using heat map and navigating but at d end of the day u actually earn more. If I'm to do above 50k it will be with Uber but the truth is God will deliver us from working so much after doing that in the past.

This 15 trips like 4 are island. Funny enough using same 20k fuel I hit more than the 50k using indrive and I used AC truout and gosh!! Better rider. More sane rider. I indeed forgot the Uber feel.

Q
Azertise:
You say 20k to get 50k is good business but you blow empty from Eko hotel to Ajah.

And you said you spent 1.5ltrs for that empty drive, that's roughly N2k with fuel at N1330/Ltr. N2k to earn N5k was exactly within your logic, but e reach your turn suddenly good business turn insult.

Using 20k to justify ROI as if fuel is the only operating cost in this business. What of Time? The wear and tear of the car? Physical stress? And he definitely off AC so Sun for don do am strong thing. Food? Savings?

100% or 150% is not sustainable. At all.
E-hailing don dey cast and it's not as profitable as it used to be. These platforms are the only ones reaping bountifully just as bookies are always at the winning side

Even if Petrol hits N3000/litre today, the platforms will still be making profits off drivers while drivers would be going home with peanut

This week, a friend was telling me how goldmine e-hailing is, and that he wants to buy a car soon to go into the business. He said he has a friend who uses his car to hustle only during weekends and he makes profit of 100k

I told him what drivers are currently going through but he told me they're only lying. He said they won't tell you they're reaping bountifully from it

All my efforts to make him understand that he shouldn't dabble into the business with overboard expectations fell into deaf ears.. Baba say he go buy Corolla cheesy

God abeg. Why are you praising a N383/Km dashboard with your 2.5L RAV4 and with fuel at N1330 per litre? Holy. Boss, no naw, that's a foul. I understand, you'd claim your car and body, but try add disclaimers so unsuspecting newbies won't think that's a sustainable standard in these times.

And truly, I get that times are subpar, but 20k fuel to net 50k is nothing to be proud of, cause that 131km you drove definitely was more 6hrs, without factoring the time it took to cherry pick all those rides.
This same N360-N400/km was my minimum when fuel was N839, with my 2.4L muscle, talk less of now that fuel is N1330.

Aswear, I really respect your fuel efficiency if that report is accurate. I really do. But you need to optimize your dash. In as much as you believe Indrive is the way and the truth and the life, it won't trump Bolt during surge, especially priority and comfort. At the very least, you should average N500-700/Km
I can't explain my operations to u so well enough but see let me break this down. I'm a career driver who chose to drive not using driving to raise funds for whatever...... Like even wen I got funds that would make anyone walk away I didn't. D daily money structured my finances. I can't explain it. It won't make sense u have good funds in account and still driving grin.

D guys that worry about car depreciation iz funny to me cause pls what kind of cars do you buy? huhI have used severally cars bro. I can't even explain. I buy solid cars and use them and maintain them selling them you won't know iz used on ehailing. But iz an online forum iz like maybe everyone's caps that's y I said me and pearl sud see face to face and maybe he thot is fight or argument but we can sit over bottles of cold bear cause I believe wen we see will respect each other more.

I'm not looking for applause or accolades. In only share my opinions here. But if u think buying fuel of 20k and making 50k is bad business in a day for a good car that was built to drive in this days of fuel being gold then iz okay. Even calculations of depression on balance sheet being zero after some years still counts in d branch P or L cause the car that has been written off in depreciation is still physically present and infact will later be sold to bank staff way above the last figure In their books.

Bro make every body do wetin Dem sabi. As long as iz adding greens to our pockets and they are happy but you can't conclude on a bizness like you own all d models. Sometimes I laugh at assumptions of folks but iz all good.

You are right

That we should never assume that what someone is doing is useless cause our calculations are not d same with theirs.

They was a guy here that posted a dashboard and his kms were less than 300km even me I was surprised but he explained how he uses time more as arriving on time is very important to him I didn't argue. Everyone understands how dey do their bizness we sudn't come here and bring people down by making general statements that are demeaning sometimes and cause dey ask questions undecided

Live and allow the next man live as long as we are okay. For d ones that ask genuine questions pls assist
