Our own internal multiculturalism, a forced union of deeply different peoples, Muslim North vs. Christian/animist South, with ethnic rivalries everywhere. dysfunction corruption, Boko Haram, banditry, secessionist movements like IPOB, resource fights in the Creeks of N. DELTA stems more from incompatible groups trapped in one artificial state than from colonial leftovers.

Many African countries that kept colonial languages/borders still struggle with the same ethnic fractures.

countries like singapore kept English and thrived by enforcing assimilation and merit, not multiculturalism.

Japan/Korea kept their languages and religions Shinto/Buddhism/Confucianism, and stayed cohesive because they're ethnically homogeneous.

Go and ask other Africans how south Africans are treating them. Ask Nigerians how Ghanaians are treating them.

I don't live in Canada, so I can't speak to that, but I know Canadians are complaining about the large number of Indians in the country.
The corruption is the result of many things, and tribalism is one of them.

My point is, if you move to a country as a group of people, adopt the countries culture, don't try to change it to your culture, assimilate.

Because of Igbos, every African in South Africa legal or illegal is being asked to leave.
You can't openly practice Christianity in the Middle East, yet they want to change the cultures of other countries they move to. Why? Multiculturalism?

1. It is not possible for the Igbos to change the culture of South Africans. They can’t even achieve that in Nigeria, talk more of SA. It seems the SA’s are just been paranoid due to other reasons. I would take my time to research more on this Igbo people vs SA feud.

2. Canada is successfully managing a multicultural society and they are doing just fine. Same with other countries like Singapore. Because there are few complaints here and there doesn’t mean multiculturalism has failed them or they’re about to explode because of it.

3. I repeat. Nigerias core problem is corruption and not because we are diverse.
Corruption is the root cause. It’s the reason why we don’t have constant power, we deal with bad roads, poor education, poor health system etc.

4. Your problem is with Islam and its practitioners. Leave multiculturalism out of it.
