No, it isn't, now, could you answer please, Would one need training to help a blind or an elderly individual cross a busy London road?
Hello sir!

Please don’t shift the goal post.

Helping someone cross the road is different from being a traffic officer.

I am well conversant that you cannot hit the road after being employed as a traffic officer on the first day?

You make these jobs look petty not knowing the skill and training involved.

So I can just jump out of car and start controlling traffic because I feel I can and anybody can do it?

Yes! I have a right to do so if I do not find a government accredited official at a point of chaos. It’s my first duty.
it's also your civic duty as a citizen to organize public peace as well as its your civic duty to do citizen arrest and hand over to the authorities.. What this gentleman is doing is a civic duty till when the authorities are around and he steps aside...

if he do same thing here and government arrest am na ona ho first batch government as useless and clueless that they can make traffic work and ordinary citizen way they volunteer them still arrest am Nigerians ona too wicked ona no day easy to govern true true
HacheNoire:
He should be arrested for taking up duties he is not professionally trained for!

This is a pure violation of public safety and professionalism!

Which Shire or county bestowed upon him to carry out responsibilities on behalf of the government?

This needs to be investigated and taken up with necessary quarters.

It’s a ridicule to the crown and country.

yes.Actually cars are cheap..though the older the model, the cheaper. But they all look good and almost new.
Are you talking from experience or just hearsay’s?

Cars are expensive in UK sir.
Just there there are more convenient way to buy them on PCP or HP.

Moreover, those are luxurious cars and latest. Not the regular cars you are talking about

I am not shifting any goal post, the example i gave you with an elderly or blind person is the same as what you and I are disputing.

LordLicifer:
One can buy a car on HP or lease a car for every 3 years, if you are leasing every 3 years you pick up a brand new car and return the fairly older car. You put down a deposit and pay the rest of the lease instalmentally or HP every month
You are right on the HP. The other option is PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) but are are not totally correct on it.

With PCP, you pay an arranged amount monthly after deposit to keep the car depending on the contract, the mileage used is also included. At the end of the contract (2,3,4…..) you may decide to own the car and pay the last payment called the ballooned payment. You may decide to return the car or you exchange for a new one.

FALSE!

Walking a zebra crossing takes no skill !

Controlling traffic takes a skill. Those traffic officers you see go through trainings on regular basis and not all that apply get employed!

You making it sound like it’s anybody’s job and just a quack job anybody can attend to anytime.

You claim to know the laws and still waiting for you to state one!

yes.my dear.am talking from experience.
You can google prices of cars in uk..considering the years of production.
2015 to 2020 looks good amd much cheaper.
With as low as £3,500 you can get a lovely 2015 product. An average white british person here doesnt really care about latest model.Thats less than 2 months minimum wage. For monthly deposit,it can help you to sort out more expensive ones.

I am talking from the stand point of a professional!

He had a phone to call necessary authorities to make complaints, but ignored and took upon himself to endanger the life’s of the public.

As a matter of fact, I am writing a petition at the moment to the UK government for such misconduct. I demand answers as a stakeholder!
Not funny abeg.

You didn't answer my question, again, i ask, if an elderly or blind individual needed help crossing the road on a busy London road so no one must help until they undergo an intense training on how to help an elderly pensioner or a blind man cross the road? Could you answer please?

Okay... By all means knock yourself out with the so called petition Boss! Do also write to Burkingham palace while you are at it. grin good luck!
You should be able to recognise a rage bait when you see one. The person you're arguing with is laughing his head off

You are right!

I demand to know why an unprofessional took responsibility for the government after taxes.

Those questions need to be answered. I could have put my life in danger on the said day not knowing a quack was at the helms of affairs.

I just need to finish my petition and copy necessary quarters. I demand answers and failure to respond could make a million pounds richer!

Not quitting at these point.

I have the life’s of family and friends on the line!

If I don’t do now, do I have to wait till they get killed by an un professional traffic officer? No! I won’t!

bro, you don’t know about UK cars sir.
Where are their MOT dates?
So you think the 2014 Benz with that heavy mileage is cheap at £3795?
2012 Nissan Qashqai with mileage close to 100k at £3000 is cheap ke?

My 1pence advice, don’t try to buy those kind of cars or you spend all your money on MOT and repairing

yes.yes.I understand what you are saying about MOT and repairs.
It depends on how frequently you use the car.
If you earn much higher in salary, you can go for much expensive ones.
All am trying to say is that with your earnings, you can afford what you can.
It will be stupid to go for more expensive cars when you earn less.
And generally, repairs are expensive in UK.

yes.I understand what you are saying.
Please, people are using those cars with higher mileage and it still lasts.
Some lower mileage might still have a hidden fault which you might not know..since they are all fairly used.

Alright sir.
For a start in UK, you can go for those cars, I also did when I started life in UK. Just be ready to spend money on fixing and repairing. UK auto mechanics are not smiling at all. You will understand what I’m saying If you’ve ever visited them.

I would advise anyone to go for PCP or Hire Purchase (HP) instead of those cars you mentioned

The post features a viral video of a Nigerian man in London directing chaotic traffic involving luxury cars like a Ferrari Purosangue and Bentley, using humorous, firm commands to de-escalate a near-road rage incident and clear the road.

Viewers in replies praise his skills as honed from Nigerian urban chaos, particularly Lagos, joking he must have prior experience with informal traffic control like LASTMA officers.

That's the thing Nigerians be doing boy boy work in another man's country.. something he won't willingly do or volunteer to do when he was in Nigeria.. all in the name of seeking a better life

really?
But how do they do it?
Its called car note.
You are giving a loan to buy the car and you pay in monthly installments. If a new year car comes out, you can trade in the old car and step up to a new one.

As long as you have a good and steady source of income, you are good.

Lucky man!

If this were to be in US, one pointdexter will run off the road and sue him for all he is worth. He has to provide the certificate/license that qualifies him to control the traffic in court. In the absence of that, they will throw the book at him. Sometimes being highly litigious could be advantageous and this is one of such scenarios.
