And by extension, far better than Okoye too. Which of Ejide and Aiyebugba have Nwabali's cleansheets record at Africa's biggest tournament, the Afcon? Papi85: |

Charlesemeka85, Papi85... abeg, show me Ejide's and Aiyenugba's record in Afcon History. Only Vincent Enyeama surpasses Nwabali in Cleansheets at the Afcon and he did it in 4 tournaments. You stylishly left out Okoye and only brought Nwabali up against Ejide and Aiyenugba yet history proves none of them were as reliable as Nwabali. TheSuperNerd: |

I asked this question on X, look at the replies 😂 person say he go beat me 😂 🇳🇬 Super Eagles fans, PICK A PILL! 🔴 Red Pill: Finidi George returns as Super Eagles Head Coach for the next 6 years. 🔵 Blue Pill: Francis Uzoho returns as Super Eagles number one goalkeeper for the next 5 years. What's your pick? 👀 https://x.com/i/status/2038539334849048655

Blue pill. I will take Uzoho as Goalkeeper for 6 years. With Chelles style of play, we will pepper most top African nations. Uzoho won't be tested as much. Finidi as coach is like torture. We will lose games like Tottenham and fail to qualify for Afcons and World cups. |

AndSunGorilla:Gbam, that's the smartest pick. It's better to have Uzoho come back to keep than to have Finidi who doesn't believe in formation come back to coach 😂 |

Papi85:Berti Vogts gave Ejide a good chance and he wasn't inspiring. Even Keshi gave Ejide a couple of chances and I remember a friendly against Scotland where people thought Ejide might have collected bribe. |

Karlovych:Let me as you this. If a team is about to participate in a competition and FIFA notices that that team has players dual national passports which is being forbidden by the country in question ( just as the DRC case) do you think FIFA would approve it? |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 7:23pm On Mar 30 |
I forgot nothing. Dele Aiyenugba was never a reliable pair of gloves between the sticks for Nigeria. For Enyimba, only in penalty shootouts yes in 2004 but for Nigeria? He was in goal naa vs Guinea for that crucial 2012 Afcon Qualifiers that we blew by drawing 2-2. Ejide got his chance under Berti Vogts in 2008 and was just there. Decent GK but Enyeama was way better in every way which is exactly why Enyeama regained the #1 shirt. Stanley Nwabali has earned his stripes. And it is you who forgot that it is Nwabali's NT form that has kept Maduka Okoye out of the #1 position. Even Uzoho that was #1 at the 2018 World Cup eventually bowed to Nwabali. Papi85: |

MetalJigsaw:FIFA verifies eligibility not nationality. They will approve it because those players were eligible through their parents and possess the country's passport. |

Odunayaw:in the moment? The DRC own because the chance of going to the next step is on the line. But in hindsight, the zimbabwe match should hurt the most. A win in that match while maintaining other results and our friendlies this year would be tagged 'pre-world cup' friendlies. Plus it was also a very winnable victory snatched from us at the end. This thread would have been filled right now with delusional projections of a world cup final or 3rd place finish. |

Morocco is taking this their AFCON issue with Senegal to extreme levels. So Morocco anticipated that Senegal were gonna parade the AFCON trophy at the stadium before their match against Peru. The Moroccan FA appointed a justice commissioner to attend the match, note all the details about the trophy parade and gather evidence. Morocco has now filed a petition to FIFA Ethics committee accusing Senegal FA of violating article 15 of the FIFA Disciplinary code - 'an act of defiance by parading and celebrating a trophy revoked by CAF Appeal board, and also having two stars on their jerseys.' The punishment for this breach in the FIFA rules book is indefinite suspension by FIFA and expulsion from all organized sporting competitions which Morocco is now pushing for. Morocco dey beef Senegal no be small. |

Ghana has not threatened Germany all half. They seem content just ensuring Germany does not hurt them. Is this how Otto Addo hope to hurt teams at the WC?? Is this the Football the Ghana FA Boss was referring to? Haram ball?

TheSuperNerd:Germany isn't that good these days, maybe it's a coaching issue but they aren't a world cup winning team...a team like Senegal will easily beat this German team. |
