This is just finding issues where there are none.
Slavery is taught sufficiently in schools in the US. Just because there are no plantations left, would we now pretend that the history of slavery is being erased.

My great great grand father like many others in his time had slaves, with the exception of Badagry we don't see any monuments. Every town and city in ancient Nigeria practiced slavery, how many monuments are there? I don't see any in Mbise, Egba, Kano, or kogi.

I was never taught about black on black slavery in school. So who is erasing history?

My belief in God constrains me. I believe that this life is not as difficult as many of the astrologers and the several well-read people think it is. And therein lies the reasons for my approach to life generally. It's what's kept me going all through the years. All those extra layers of knowledge brings about confusion, complexity and the tendency to want to take me away from the peace I have with my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ by my simply believing in him! When I was a little boy growing up in Port Harcourt, I my Street and my compound gates were locked in fear thay okrika and Kalabari people were fighting. Then I heard Nembe and Kalabari people are fighting, then I heard two villages in Nembe were fighting.

My point is, once you can't distinguish people into sex, tribes, race etc. You will always get conflicts based on identity.

The identities in Nigeria are just too much.
