My person to someone from Yewa South part of Ogun State. This idea of tagging pple who are just telling the government to wake up to reality as an Ibo is something I don't understand. One day the pple will revolt and you and ur government won't be able to withstand it maybe not today maybe not tomorrow but certainly one day.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has been officially named Central Bank of the Year 2026 by the Central Banking Awards Committee in London.

How's does this even help Nigeria as a whole undecided

I really pity Nigeria as a nation. If Nigeria was human she would weep everyday for hosting so many children who hate her, call her ungracious names and wish her to fail to the extent every good that happens to her they wish to deny and discredit publicly.

Those of us who genuinely love Nigeria and match that with an obsessive interest in all the good happening to her are not surprised by this award which is only the beginning.

The woman below and others like her (i.e the finest technocrats in the World) have been gushing effusively about how impressed they are with the reforms of Tinubu and where such can take Nigeria if allowed to achieve desired result

Haters can hate but they always lose in the end. Law of life because God/Karma and even Earth spirit does not like haters. God bless Nigeria plus all patriotic and progressive Nigerians.

"Inflation has dropped to about 15.1 percent as of early 2026". This is true only on paper, the common man on the street knows that inflation has only gotten higher in Cardoso and Tinubu's regime

It helps by putting us firmly and irreversibly on the path to becoming a developed nation that your children and generations unborn will positively remember leaders of today for as facilitators of the great life and nation they have.

Same as Singaporeans remember Lee Kuan Yew well for reforms that made Singapore one of the greatest nations on earth to live and work in today, over a 30 years period, even as adults under his leadership back then had to endure and make sacrifices per the hardship reforms initially created.

ogaontop:
You should stop being dumb please, what's the effect of all these on the average Nigerian?
As we look at what's on papers, let us also consider the effect on ground!

Try and check up how much Nigeria borrowed between 2015 to May 2023 of Buhari (with subsidy), and June 2023 to 2026 of Tinubu (without subsidy payment), and tell me what you found out
2. Also try and check up how many companies have closed down business or left Nigeria from 2015 till date, the numbers will speak for themselves

The Jonathan you guys called names is an angel where APC government is.
There you go again with your pedestrian logic on how the economy should be ran......can the common man you are always quick to refer to have economic prosperity if the currency isn't stable, govt isn't solvent enough, inflation being brought down, foreign investors having confidence in your economy, diversifying the economy, banks being recapitalosed to be strong enough to give the economy the big push it needs?

How is it so difficult for you to know that it's the macro that drives the micro....if the macro is stable then gradually starts to cascade down to the micro level where your common man that is always hungry is......tinubu us doing fantastically well in this regard as just confirmed by the committee of central banks from all over the world whether you like it or not but I would agree with you there is a disconnect right now with the reality on the streets but this things are gradual, its the people themselves that would have to create productivity in the economy together with the govt......we don't have to consume all we have to fill our bellies without preparing for 2mao as we were used to during the gej era which put us in the mess we are in right now.

Go and check your facts,Nigeria debt actually reduced in dollar terms under tinubu from where he met it.......the last time was under obj, your debt servicing to revenue ratio was at a 105% when tinubu came but now its about 60% you can just Google it and see......these are the things investors and the business people that will create those jobs you are talking about, these are tge things they look at to make decisions.

Though I'm opposed to this evil regime of APC, this is very much "commendable" (make I borrow yarimo favorite grammar 😂).

I just hope the few positive reforms initiated by this heartless APC government will be sustained by the next administration.

But what is really the source of this news, why is the link unverifiable?
Google 'best central Bank in the world' and see the result. You have a phone to seek information. Do not allow bitterness and too much negative mindset to downplay your education.
