The midfield of Onyedika and Onyeka deserves their flowers too.

All this talk of Iwobi absence, without Iwobi midfield is zero is not a true description of what that midfield has shown today so far.

Some Folks were only 10mins into the game and already saying no midfield, no attack... na wa ooo. Football watchers dey ooo.

Guys remember this is a friendly, no player wants to go back with injury, so our guys are very cautious and careful but the Jordanese are pplaying like its a WC game
Fernandez scored as if na empty net him face, non-challant goal cool
That Sor guy is giving Osayi hard time tracking back but Osayi sef na amugbo
Onyedika needs to stamp his authority in the MF, he's mostly unseen

I think his shot stint coaching one of those Arab cluside in Algeria opened his eyes to the inner workings , style , system and mindset the Arabs play with.

minfelix:

Then you have not been watching keenly. The game is just passing you by.

Onyedika has been at the heart of every ball passing through that middle and even falling back to collect passes from the CBs. He even scored a worldie that was cancelled. Na wa ooo.

Same NFF gave us this Chelle . They didn't deny us this one.

minfelix:
NFF really denied us of so many things meehn…especially not qualifying for the world cup…Chelle would have swept pass that group, maybe with just an exception of drawing only SA in their potato bloemfontein..
If he had started that qualifiers

Papi85... I hope you can see that even Fernandez is outshining Ogbu. Same Ogbu you said you will pick over anyone else aside Bassey and Ajayi. Na 2-caps Fernandez dey ball pass am sef.

The way Jordan open Ogbu legs for that first half still dey give me heart skips. And yes, Ogbu is good but omo, today ehn... Jordan dey use am play. Hopefully he has a better 2nd half.

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 7:42pm On Mar 31
Yes Ogbu was solid cleaning up that Frank Onyeka lost possession.

And Fernandez again! From a corner! His aerial threat is so good as he shows at Rangers.

Onyedika had a fine first half at the heart of every midfield play. You obviously were watching your game on Ghost TV.
