Yes, when they don't speak up, you say it's because a member of their tribe is in power and they don't want to lose patronage.
When they speak, you say they are scams and shouldn't speak.
You are offended when they speak and offended when they don't speak.

You don't understand the statement. What he said is the money given to voters to buy their vote has been spent by the voters and they are now in want.

Money will be given more this coming election.

May be na cash, gas cooker and blender dem go they share this time.

Make some people still dey share Malt drinks and gala at their end.

Any how it goes, na win-win for the voters. Na dem go still use the substandard amenities built by government. That’s their thinking.

Oyedepo can try to build mega factories across NIgeria and employ hundreds of thousands of his church members with better salaries.

He can then warn them not to sell their votes. Otherwise, he should shut his mouth.

This one just dey rant since PDP lost power and those paying billions of naira in tithes and offerings are no longer coming.
We remember a popular pastor whose private jet was caught in South Africa moving millions of dollars by Dasuki or another crook.
The river of illicit fund is no longer flowing. The Ark that was supposed to be opened two years ago is still struggling. You want to build a single building for 100,000 homeless, jobless people to pray for job at the cost of #100B, why don't you kukuma build factories so that the people can work and thank God instead of disturbing God with their cries of unemployment and hunger?
And also be making money to pay the tithes he wants.

Na agba conman he be from time. Ab’oju belu belu.

I disagree with the bishop and this mindset always saying everyone who voted a politician was paid is why people the good bishop support or leads always fail in elections. From Segun Agbaje to Peter Obi etc

Democracy is all about numbers and you can’t buy everyone. Rather you intensify canvassing and engagement to get people to your side not everything is money, baba needs to change that mindset

You can’t blackmail anyone to vote your preferred candidate.

Oga should go and rest. I believe his voice has better use than to be wasted on Nigerians.
I will prefer indifference on his part. Don't try saving those who don't want to be saved.
Everyone is complaining except those that own funeral homes and coffin makers.
To them, Nigerian government is the gift that keeps giving. Throw in readily and willfully vulnerable masses, it is El Dorado!

Pastors would go left and the Bible will go right!

Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. Romans 13:1

1 Peter 2:13-17
Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to the king as the supreme authority, / or to governors as those sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right. / For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorance of foolish men.

Titus 3:1
Remind the believers to submit to rulers and authorities, to be obedient and ready for every good work,

Matthew 22:21
“Caesar’s,” they answered. So Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

Daniel 2:21
He changes the times and seasons; He removes kings and establishes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
Hope you spiritually understand the scriptures quoted here?

The Bishop was asking about the money people received in 2023, naa!

The money was there the same way the "rolling bags of money" will show up next year. However, those who sold their votes last time, how much of the money have they saved till today?

is quite obvious that you did not understand the message. What Bishop Oyedepo is saying is about the voters still having the money at hand that they used to sell their votes in 2023 election.

So, speaking against vote buying is not submitting to authority?

Dude should keep quiet abeg. We've not forgotten how he was threatening people who vote against Jonathan that year that he'll shut the gate of heaven against them. Unfortunately Nigerians are emotional beings with a very short memory span. They'll hail any idiot that's against their perceived enemy. He's no better than the politicians.

Why won't I be proud of calling out a charlatan? Everything is not about politics, some things are about sanctity of certain positions. I know it's a difficult concept for your likes to wrap their head around. Everything is emotions and aggression to you.

Because Buhari performed badly, you don't see anything wrong in what oyedepo did back then. To you, he was right. A so called man of God using God's name to threaten people because of politics. That's why it's sad I share a country with your likes. And that's why it's easy to always deceive you, they know you're not capable of logical thinking.

Tragic!

The context is about Yes Daddy who happens to be a pastor and Obi who says he's your Messiah that is associating with Prostitutes and tax collectors!

Where was Jesus speaking against the Romans and the government during his time? Or where the government then any better?

Let me first say this: I expect you to eun after this reply. There'll be nothing of value in your head to spew out anyways.

Now if you would at least read the bible very well, you'll see that Jesus at many times spoke against the leaders of the Land: the Pharisees and chief priest. He called them hypocrites many times. I'm fact they always tried to kill him and at then eventually did so.

You see, speaking truth to power and speaking against the ills of the government has always been a biblical thing. That's why the apostles got flogged and imprisoned and they were characterized to d as Jesus did.

Jesus didn't stay mum at injustice like your imams tell you to do.

At all times, Jesus position towards leaders is that they are there for the people and not the other way round.
