The first way to industrialise Nigeria is to remove subsidy on power supply so more investors can invest in all the sectors: generation, transmission and distribution. If there is constant electricity, industrialisation is a given! But let’s be honest, are we ready to pay for a it? Most Nigerians want power supply but want it cheap! Electricity is not cheap!
allow them buy petrol or diesel them go no how far

The Nigerian securities should not intimidate them, instead this current administration should address the issue of hardship in a civil manner, we should stop behaving like a 3rd world country everytime.
They have no right to block an expressway or damage the road by lighting bonfires on it.

Oga, I assume you are a man with 2 balls. Tinubu is also a man. Go and remove him if you consider yourself as a male grown man. All this social media chest beating is a waste of time. Help us save Nigeria by removing him from office.

Ok so an increase from 33 naira per unit to 250 naira per unit is not expensive enough in your opinion.

Perhaps you will be happy when they increase it to 1000 per unit

So, it's by blocking a major high way, disturbing motorists that had something important to do. They should head to the government houses and State's secretariat to block the roads. I hate protests that disturbs the masses and inconveniences people. They should take their protests to the door steps of those concerned and not to the masses that have already been traumatised. Come 2027, many will collect money and still return the same politicians or worse to power. I don't take Nigerians protests seriously again. Every protest has been bastadised, abused, tribalised and bought over.
Who are the masses? Are the protesters protesting for the date of their family members? Or they are protesting for the betterment everybody?

If the road is blocked then let them join in the protest by so doing everybody will feel the impact. I f u show I don't care attitude who will protest for u to enjoy if the result becomes positive?

Protest is for everyone and nobody can deny the fact that the economy is bitting harder .

I am not in support protest of destroying lives and properties but a peaceful protest.

Let the trucks, motorist, okada rider can join if they like .

But let it peaceful.
By so doing the government will listen to the cry of the people

I still dey wonder how them won take implement this tax law🧐🧐

I hear say them go take 100k for person account, if you never go file for tax, I they wait for the tax person way won collect 100k from my account.

After government get mind, to increase fuel price without looking for ways to increase standard of living.

The thing be say I provide my own water, most times I provide my own electricity and even pay for my own health care services, so why am I been taxed?? huh
Most sensible talk I I read since 2006 I registered on nairaland,
My friend in uk gets tax return every year, I asked our accountant at the office concerning tax return,
He said u dey expect Nigeria government wey like money to give u tax return?

Even in advanced countries, energy is subsidized by government to enable industrialization. What should be done is to encourage generation of energy from various sources: government, private entities & linked to the national grid. Government runs the transmission company but doesn't pay promptly for electricity generated. That's the major problem. There's need for private sector or public private partnership in that aspect.
