Yesterday defenders of democracy, today's destroyers, What a shame.

What an irony of history, that the acclaimed defenders of democracy and human rights who claimed to have fought for democracy during the era of General Sani Abacha now find themselves worse than the man they opposed.

Today, General Sani Abacha, once presumed face of oppression, will be remembered as seemingly more democratic and more respectful of human rights than the so-called champions of activism from the NADECO days. Power indeed reveals character.

No matter what Tinubu does,the oppostion will field a candidate in 2027 and there is nothing he can do about it

The same man that never allowed local government election for good 7 years as governor but was forced by court to do it in his last year of government?

Abacha is the best thing to happen to Peter Obi.

It was under Abacha he made his money.

We know the role this same Obi played under Nzeribe to ensure June 12 was truncated.

Abacha appointed same Obi on recommendation from the notorious Nzeribe as part compensation for truncating the transition to democratic rule.

While the likes of Tinubu were fighting the Abacha junta to restore Abiola's mandate, Obi was serving Abacha.

So why won't Abacha junta be the best thing to happen to Obi?

If he had not fought for democracy, you wouldnt have become governor of Anambra. You wouldnt have aspired to become president of Nigeria.
When he risked his life , you were dinning and winning with Abacha.
