Study Sowore closely, it's always based on basic principles. Sowore has never advocated the incarceration of anybody.
If you have a case with someone, follow due process. Do not deny anyone freedom.

These basic things are very difficult for shallow minds to comprehend until it affects them personally.

Taking someone to court is the legal pathway and more potent than illegal detentions (most wrongdoers will quickly seek reconciliation because when a judge jails you in court it's official and you are done!). You are only empowering a tiger (the police) with illegality when you encourage detentions without court order and that tiger won't hesitate to swallow you too with illegality when you no longer have the means.

Stop attacking Sowore like an illiterate.

Im a fan of VDM, alsor a fan of Sowore.
Everyone zhould kindly put themselves in positions that some people aren't comfortable with.
Would you feel comfortable with somone having your pictures on billboards and other places you didnt authorize? Thats wrong. VDM did the right thing to tell everyone that it was done without his approval. Any random person can do that to anyone.

Lets all be logical sometimes.
Re: Sowore Vows To Free Remanded B-lord by Amalekki: 6:55pm On Apr 02
The issue being addressed by Sowore is not about wrong or right, the issue is about illegal detention of any citizen by the police.
What constitutes illegal detention is very clear in Nigerian legal system. Law is not logic and police station is not court of law.

It is People like Blord that make ed!ots nonentities like VeryDirtyman feel like he's special. This is a simple case of not using ur head , everything ia not about ur fortunate money. It is simple logic a so called astute biz man like Blord should know that using someone's image for biz marketing without their consent is a crime. How do u call urself a billionaire and not know this or he thought he was just catching cruise? He's so Domb
Now the uslss vdm in his r0tten head will think he has scored a great goal.
This is just a simple case that blord played himself into and scored a stup!d own goal

I was responding to the op on flight risk, someone that refused to show up in court after countless invitation, until he was dragged is capable of flight risk or anything.

Simple! Sowore looks beyond the characters involved, be it VDM, Blord, Davido, Portable, Funke Akindele or Yul Edochie. He was addressing a basic tenet of the law with regards to freedom of movement. This is something an average Nigeria is incapable of understanding. This is not about VDM or BLord and not about who is right or wrong, this is about average Nigerians in a nation with many illegally incarcerated without the say so of any court of law.

That's fine but let's quit the emotional blackmail. He already apologized on that & explained the circumstances. This is a totally different discussion.

There is nothing like illegal detention here
VDM didn't lock him up with police like our politicians normally do. He followed due process. Blord was sued, he even refused to honour court invitation, he came to court with his lawyer and case was adjourned, what is the illegal detention here for someone that had a lawyer SAN & was given opportunity to defend himself?

If Sowore do not consult vdm privately for an agreement, then there will be a fight between vdm and sowero & vdm will still win.

Sowore's getting himself involved, will be irrelevant and will bear no fruit. Vdm is not someone you can just ignore even in his own direct matter.

Quote me.

it was evident although subtly when sowore and vdm mat at the hospital and they both prevented the prison service from arresting the lady , vdm wanted to talk and to raise some points but sowore told him to let him handle , although it was very subtle but the message was clear . it was as if this is my case . it was then i knew all wasnt too well with them .
but working together is actually what will benefit nigerians and we should hope that they settle their differences amicably

It's a criminal offense not civil matter, blord use VDM image and personality to make money without VDM content.
Even at that it's a very simple matter bail should be granted instantly

You are very correct, but our judges are so dumb this case should have made VDM excess money from BLord. Blord is foolish, he should have sued VDM when VDM made an advert and called his name to condemn the fake iPhone he imported from abroad. That was when I thought he would have sued VDM for like N5billionaire naira. But he was foolish to fall into the hand of that dirty VDM.

That is not enough, he has properties in Nigeria and also has money in his account. By this case he was supposed to pay huge sum of money to VDM as damages and not spending jail time.

You're childish for rating a content creator above the number one activist in the Africa.

Just imagine Seyi or in fact any politician locking up anyone for this crime, yes it’s a crime, the noise for this internet for plenty.
hmm, this is exactly the double standard I'm talking about, it's not only in this case, but it's visible all over Nigeria youth even past years, some people will do something and they will support and hail him, but let people they don't support do that sane thing, they will crucify him online. Nigerians are just like Chelsea fans, just noise makers

He pleaded not guilty, which translate to the continuation of the case, else he was remanded, not convicted anyways...
