True talk on the example used but one of the top people prosecuted in that scandal was white. $250 million. And this is just one. Scour through the whole debacle and you would find more of the white people involved in the honeypot https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.justice.gov/usao-mn/pr/federal-jury-finds-feeding-our-future-mastermind-and-co-defendant-guilty-250-million&ved=2ahUKEwj_3ay5ydKTAxXmV0EAHT2fBBgQFnoECBoQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0qTB8bprWdEk1s5ubtCmvZ.
One of the biggest fraud cases at the turn of the century, the enron scandal? White people. If we look at global cases of fraud based on amount stolen white people will head the list. I guess we feel our people are the most corrupt because we are a very poor continent so the corruption is more noticeable. $250 million fraud in Nigeria will take front stage attention and will go on for months. In the US? Two weeks tops and another story takes center stage.
I guess what im trying to say is corruption is as certain as death in every human society.
Mujtahida:
Somalians were at the heart of the fraud in Minnesota. Not a good example to back your point

Iran should not withdraw. Their presence at the WC will add spice to the tourney just as their encounter with USA in France 98 created lots of buzz.
unless the US strike a deal with Iran before the world cup, the possibility that they wont be arrested by the trump admin is very low. Trump has already said the US wont be safe for them and FIFA is not changing venues so their pull out is very likely. We wait to see what happens tho.

That goal is madness! Damn! EPL return itching closer for the Tank. 6 more games, 11pts clear of second placed Millwall.

Frankly, there is no stopping Frank's Coventry.

I swear, he just knackered it one time into the top corner! Para boy!

They've only lost once since he joined them, the rest na straight wins.

Poor Otto Addo. He lost to Nigeria twice during his second stint. Even in his first stint, he managed only two draws. Mali’s Chelle had previously lost to him in WCQ, but later, after becoming Nigeria’s coach, Chelle defeated him in the Unity Cup. Finidi also won against his team.

⁶Super Eagles’ 🦅🇳🇬 FIFA World Cup qualifying run: 🥺

🧑🏻‍🏫 Jose Peseiro:
Nigeria 🇳🇬 1-1 Lesotho 🇱🇸
Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 1-1 Nigeria 🇳🇬

• 2 games
• 2 points

🧑🏻‍🏫 Finidi George:
Nigeria 🇳🇬 1-1 South Africa 🇿🇦
Benin Republic 🇧🇯 2-1 Nigeria 🇳🇬

• 2 games
• 1 point

🧑🏻‍🏫 Eric Chelle:
Rwanda 🇷🇼 0-2 Nigeria 🇳🇬
Nigeria 🇳🇬 1-1 Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Nigeria 🇳🇬1-0 Rwanda 🇷🇼
South Africa 🇿🇦 1-1 Nigeria 🇳🇬
Lesotho 🇱🇸 1-2 Nigeria 🇳🇬
Nigeria 🇳🇬 4-0 Benin Republic 🇧🇯

• 6 games
• 14 points

3 consecutive draws and 1 loss at the start… d@mn it!! 😱

Our foundation was terribly poor, and horrible home and away draws against Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 only made things worse for Nigeria.

Missing consecutive FIFA World Cups is a pain Nigerians 🇳🇬 won’t forget anytime soon.
Lesotho come draw Naija for home and they tell me Peseiro no messed up...Finidi even had strong oppositions South Africa and I will rate Benin over Zimbabwe... Peseiro and Finidi messed things up

I agree that corruption is universal but the scale in our society is incomparable with other societies. And also while rich countries can afford to be corrupt, we are too poor to be wrecking our country with corruption.

in my opinion jpes had the same impact as finidi in this issue but his afcon showing saved him and gave him more grace than finidi. Drawing lesotho is the same as losing to benin. Those two instances were not supposed to happen at all.

Raphael Onyedika's performance against Atletico Madrid on February 18th, had me saying this:

Meliforme:
Raphael Onyedika's performance yesterday reiterated my analysis of his utility on the field of play.
Raphael Onyedika will produce more value playing as a central midfielder and even as an attacking midfielder than he would as a defensive midfielder.
Stankovic and Onyedika played a double pivot in midfield with Onyedika drifting into the more offensive areas and Stankovic trailing behind to provide cover.

Raphael Onyedika's three shots were all on target.
Raphael Onyedika possesses an excellent passing ability. His five long balls were all accurate, he created two chances, provided a switch of play that was essential to one the goals, assisted a goal, scored a goal etc.
His shooting and passing ability will provide a good advantage if he is closer to the goalpost where wingers and center forwards will benefit from his excellent passes of the ball and where he will be closer to taking his shots at goal

A player of his abilities shouldn't be wasted plying a much deeper role.
