I recall a reporter from GH-Naija Ballers named Ifeyinwa or so in 2 different post match conferences at Afcon 2025 asking Chelle questions and also declaring him our best coach for a while. These guys' source could be up to something and boy!!! I am hoping all goes well.

will be good for the team and the next generation after the duo of Aina and Osayi but to be honest I don’t see Kayode as a priority for now

We need more forwards (wingers) and midfielders

Aina and Osayi are nearing 30 if not already 30. Alebiosu is 24. Kayode offers us not just youth but top quality. His long throws, crossing and defensive/offensive balance will be added weapons for the Super Eagles too.

Midfielders... Yes we need reinforcements. Wingers... Yes we need reinforcements. Even in the CF role... we gotta look beyond Osimhen and Akor. Outside those two and an experienced 30+ Onuachu, who do we have really? So I am pretty sure we got our eyes on these departments especially midfield which I have been harping about for years.

But know this, na the foreign born talent wey give us audience after we reach out, we go quickly go in for. We ain't forcing the GWG on anyone. Look at how willingly Fernandez came after we reached out, despite knowing his value is on the rise as a CB at Rangers. That is exactly how it is gonna be or at least close to it.
