If Atiku is so ambitious and greedy, as you say, then why did he not bow to northern pressures in 2003, to make Obasanjo a one term president like Mandela was? 2003 was the first time Buhari asked for the job of president and failed.

Why did he not do that, like Tinubu who made a southern president have only a single term in 2015, and replaced him with a northerner whom he assessed as expired four years earlier?

Tinubu rules out alliance with CPC

Prospect of a possible alliance between the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN and Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, was dashed yesterday in Kano as the leader of the party and former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu described CPC as parading “expired leadership.”

Tinubu told ACN supporters in Kano during the party’s Presidential rally that: “What Nigerians need now is a transformation in leadership” as obtained in the advanced economy.

The two-term Governor of Lagos State explained that the leadership of ACN was offering Nigeria the brilliance of Nuhu Ribadu who, he said, is in the class of Nicolas Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain, Medvedev of Russia and Barack Obama of the United States of America.

“What has CPC got to offer? We certainly don’t need expired leadership as we are offering the best in terms of brilliance, courage and patriotism in the class of Sarkozi of France, David Cameron of Britain and Barack Obama of the USA.”

Tinubu’s position came on the heels of Ribadu’s declaration penultimate week in Kaduna when he hinted during a political rally of a joint ticket between the two opposition parties to confront the dominance of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

The national leader of ACN criticised President Goodluck Jonathan for shying away from the national debate held last Friday, stressing that”that singular act exposed Jonathan as a coward who has nothing to offer.”

Governance acumen that laid the foundations of deregulation and privatisation policies for 16 years of PDP widespread prosperity with less corruption, less unemployment, less insecurity, less debt burden etc.

So EFCC was under the control of the Lagos state government.

This is also a warning for Wike and anyone defending Tinubu: you simply cannot trust him. I genuinely feel for the Yorubas placing their hopes on a man driven purely by selfish ambition. By the time Tinubu is finished, I doubt any Yoruba person will have the opportunity to occupy Aso Rock for the next 50 years, no matter how capable, sophisticated, or intellectually gifted they might be. Tinubu is a master at using people solely to serve his own interests.

Who is your political idol? I tell you say I get idol? Yes, it's all about about interest. Atiku and Obi should have stayed in their respective parties and put it in order!

Adamawa governorship is no better than VP where he gained more supporters all over Nigeria particularly in the political arena.

Before or after then, was it Asiwaju fault that he didn't win? We are talking about a man who has contested for president since 1992. That's some 34 years ago and this old cargo is talking about one incident involving Tinubu.

Ribadu served obj very very well and he was appointed immediately after the 2003 elections . Immediately after the elections ,obj moved against all atiku boys and men in government . He brought in ribadu to do the job and tafa was one of those to be hot first . It even got to a point. Obj wanted atiku impeached and removed as vice president so that he will lose his immunity he was frustrated to even resign which would have landed him prison.
Many of those in APC today were once atiku boys during obj tenure and obj went after them one by one then using ribadu .
Atiku was virtually the one controlling pdp during obj tenure but immediately after the elections,obj seized the party structures
