The boy is very good, I'm surprised he made the switch as he's on the right track to make it to the French senior team
This is a big coup. He was also wanted by Algeria. Meanwhile our useless NFF wants more Homebased players in the SEs. Homebased that cant even compete in African competitions. If care is not taken, we wont qualify for AFCONs again talk less of WCs. I have been saying that we need to implement a plan on recruiting our players from the diaspora. If not for Eric Chelle, nobody would have talked to Fernandez and Alebiosu. We have no youth teams. No U13, U15 or U17 so how are we going to even try to recruit that Ejiofor kid tearing up Lamasia? This NFF needs to be dissolved. The people there have no clue on how to manage football. African football is leaving us behind.

Samuel Isife, Igoh Ogbu, and David Moses all in the starting XI for Slavia Prague in their Czech Liga fixture away at Banik Ostrava.

Abdullahi Bewene, 21 starts too for Ostrava.

Mubarak Emma Suleiman, 18 on the bench for Slavia.
e be like say Czech league is the new haven for our young talented players out from 9ja

Not a bad place to start from in Europe

Just 17mins on the clock in first half but Moses Usor already has a goal⚽️ and an assist🅰️ for LASK vs Austria Vienna in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Usor should have been called up instead of Yira Soor.

Players like Taminu and Sodiq were getting called up to the SE during the first few WC qualifying games.

No local coach should be allowed to coach SE again, they are the only ones that always start introducing home based quotas in the SE. They should be restricted to CHAN and U23 where they can market their players

Taminu couldn't even cut it at League one and Moroccan league.

if Usor was called and end up not doing anything you’ll come and say why did they call Usor and not Soor

Rubbish. Even if Usor comes in and does not perform calling him up over sor is still justified because he(Usor) is having a far better season than Yira Sor.

Na runner up for Asian Cup, a WC bound team you de rubbish like this? Whatever sponsors this arrogance though
Its not arrogance its the recognition of categories.

By the way, When has a WC bound team automatically become an elite?

What categories?

Where did a back to back WC missing team get the ego to talk about elite teams?

18 y/o CAM cum Winger Zadok Yohanna made his first league appearance of the 2026 Allsvenskan season but his 7th overall since his senior debut in 2025 and scored in AIK's 2-0 win vs Halmstads BK in MD1 of the Swedish Topflight aka Allsvenskan today.

It was his first senior league goal but 4th senior goal in 7 senior league appearances and 12 senior appearances including cup games.

Special wing talent to pay attention to.

Kelechi Iheanacho came in on 58mins and bagged the winner on 82mins as Celtic won 2-1 at Dundee Utd in the Scottish PL.

Nacho's 3rd league goal of the season in 4 starts (7 appearances).

Lol... Throwback to this comment only because AIK did feature him at LB once last season (2025 Allsvenskan). But they have seen the light coming into the 2026 Allsvenskan and bcoz of strong Cup performances by the lad in 2025/26.

gamaliel9:
Very soon, he will leave the club. Then, they will push him to left back position...... undecided
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:58pm On Apr 05
Chris did say watch out for him... now see his goal.

A lad who is naturally a 10 but has metamorphosed into a scary wing talent as well. Today, Modern 10s are sometimes able to play on the wings if their 1v1 dribbling is tops.

Zadok's left foot is indeed wicked like Chriskels said. Awesome spot.

ChrisKels:
Watch out for this 10 with a wicked left foot.

Zadok Yohanna

Eric Chelle and co should keep their eyes strongly on this pearl. He is a bonafide attacking weapon. Infact, call him up for the Unity Cup. Lad will be 19 in June.

Zadok Yohanna. Dont ever forget the name again.

Meanwhile, while I think Arsenal would still win the EPL title, I must say their performances in the Cups have been quite a sorry sight. E even reach their women's team who came up against the best GK in Africa and one of the best 3 GKs in the women's game, Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Arsenal lost yesterday to Southampton in FA Cup Quarters.

Today, their ladies' team lost to Nnadozie's Brighton on Arsenal's own turf, 2-0. Nnadozie made 3 saves sef to deny them one goal. Lol

Hillary Gong, 27 Brace ⚽️⚽️ off the bench for Spartak Trnava in their 4-1 win vs Zeleziarne Podbrezova in the Slovak Nike Liga.

Gong's 3rd goal and 5th G/A in 3 starts (10 games).

Philip Azango, 28 also featured for Spartak playing 76mins from the Start.

Ridwan Sanusi, 23 played 63mins from the start for Podbrezova as a LWB/LM.

We need this guy to be back in form for his own career sake.
If he can be that winger that will deliver crosses, then he may just make a return to the SE.

Actually Chriskels and I mentioned him last year. Chris dropped his name and I followed right up. I quoted Chris' post sef. If you search, you will see his followed by mine and then another moniker who said LB. Lol.
Not many paid attention to Chris' post on the lad but I kept watch through his first euro journey even during my short sabbaticals from the thread and look at him blowing up now in matchday 1 of the new season in Sweden.

I have more sabbaticals incoming so I wont even be able to drop more names when I am away but I trust others will and anyone missed will eventually make it into the media while I will try keep touch wherever I am.

Sometimes, work does not allow me come drop names in time... but time always reveal them. wink

The talentshunt/search never dies. I just love the joy of a new discovery in Naija sports especially football.
