Do you still remember Easter celebration under these men and which of them was you favorite.

For me General Ibrahim badamosi babangida is my favorite. During his time cost of living was cheap.

Then recreational centres like
Apapa Amusement park
Bar beach
Federal Palace hotel
National theater

Will come alive with families having fun during Easter. Nobody remembered who was ruling us, except politicians, who are now become worse than the military they often criticised.

During holidays like Easter families rich and poor could afford to go picnicking on bar beach
Or swimming at federal Palace
Or my favorite going to apapa amusement park
Or watching troupes at national theater igamu..
I can still remember paying 50kobo gate fee to swim at federal Palace Hotel. What a time to be a Nigerian.

So How have your easter been. Fun, sober, violent and depressing.

Are you saying families no longer go pick nicking or what? Right now in Abuja, all parks and recreational centers are already filled up. By 6pm today, you won’t even be able to get a seat at almost all the bars and hotel lounges in Abuja. So, what’s your point?

If you no get money to flex, go and double your hustle. Stop trying to see your poverty in others.

If I asked my father this question he'd say Gowon....and if his father was asked he'd say the British....until we get to one of my forefathers who'd mention Sango!!

Moral of the story, we'll keep going backwards as we are yet to be serious individuals and harness our true potential.

Now people who have money visit those centers you mentioned. During IBB rule, even the poor visited those places and had fun. We travelled freely on Nigerians roads for up to 15 hours and even overnight without much security threats. All the fun places in my head now were mostly places we traveled to on road, stopped over at many locations and had fun.

Allow people express their personal valid opinions about their experiences. It's not your experience. It's theirs.

you all fed fat on subsidized economy and now it's our turn to raise families and enjoy the same subsidy but Tinubu says not today. Apparently, he's doing this for our children and grandkids whereas when they were enjoying subsidy as recently as 2015 he didn't think about it that way.

I'll go with Abacha because of security reasons. Baba dealt with islamists fundamentalist like Sanusi, Sultan was deposed mainly because of cheating which happened years prior to deposing incident, firing squad for anyhowness 🤣😂😅

If you are talking about the( S. A. P) structural adjustment program. It was a combination of subsidy, grants, scholarships and mortgages.

Which the IBB introduce. Till date aside GEJ SURE-P which other goverment program matched SAP.

Back then NADECO critised SAP but today they are in power.

They have removed subsidy.they have removed corruption. They have put 24hrs of light. They have granted press freedom.
Nigerians are now eating 3 Square meal a day.

What a time to be a Nigerian. undecided
