Gangs started off with the Crips, a coalition of black youths coming together to protect their neighbourhood against police brutality etc, then they dabbled into crime and drug dealing...most of the killings is fuelled by gang violence, the gangs are into criminal activities and fight for dope trading spots in the projects etc...its simply fueled by crime not white supremacy.
