Again, suffering isn't genetically inherited like that. If it were, we would owe reparations to virtually every ethnic group on this planet. From descendants of Roman slaves, Mongol conquest victims, Arab slave trade survivors, intra-African war captives, Irish indentured servants, etc. Trauma can echo culturally and psychologically across generations, but turning that into perpetual national debt claims is a political construct, not consostent moral principle.

I am not blaming anyone for my shortcomings, ben. What I am doing is create opportunities for my Ghanaian people to earn and be responsible for reducing their own shortcomings today. I can assure you that none of my Ghanaian people is waiting to be longcomings before they eat food they can put on their tables themselves if some barriers are removed.
