El Rufai was most relevant in the build up to the election. However, in the election proper, APC lost Kaduna in the Presidential election, lost numerous National assembly seats, and very narrowly won the gubernatorial election.

In his first election, Obasanjo lost all of South West to Falae.

End SARS, currency redesign, and Muslim-Muslim ticket affected Tinubu's performance in Lagos and most parts of the south. But he has gained grounds since assuming the presidency.
