I recently signed up for OKash because I was in a desperate situation and needed a quick loan. I decided not to take their loan offer because I found their offered rate ridiculous, but these guys would not stop calling me every day to take a loan with a coupon I have on my account. Sometimes they call up to 8 times in a day. After searching the internet for solutions and even having to subscribe to Truecaller Premium, I decided to explore their app thoroughly because I know it is part of marketing requirements to have an unsubscribe feature or link, even before an app that has a marketing feature can be approved. These guys are very clever, even though they have an unsubscribe feature, it's hidden where no one would think to look becuase you would think you have no business with that area.

Here is what I found that helped.

- If you have deleted the app, download it from the Play Store/App Store
- Sign in with the phone number they are harassing (that's probably the number you signed up with)
- Click on Profile icon (At the bottom right, as at the time of this post)
- Click on About
- Click Marketing Unsubscribe
- Unsubscribe

I hope this helps someone escape the harassment.

why should people pay back fraudulent loans? You will give someone loan of #100k with #89k interest for just 3months. A reasonable person don't suppose to pay back such fraudulent loans

Then a reasonable person should not take that sort of loan after seeing the shark interest

Are you blind or did he modify his post or you have comprehension problem?. He didn't take the loan, they are even harassing him to come and take loan. That's what his complaining about.

Typical muru, they have your details including your face which you voluntarily gave them. All they need to do is to doxx you in public and see how fast you will repay that loan.

Avoid taking all these loan from loan apps.
Ask your friends or family members.
Don't be entangled in any sort of loans, you might never come out of going back to borrow from them.
And they will still embarrass and have your data information

For the past 2 weeks Opay has been spamming me with your 2m loan is ready notifications. I was like even when I'm yet to collect the loan you are already spamming me, what if I collect the loan and couldn't pay back? I believe Na NTA news Dem go dey display my picture as missing person lol!!

Because they have no plans to pay family and friends back or they’ve borrowed from them and not back
