Same argument about APC and Tinubu whom 10% voted for out of the 25% who voted while 75% sat in their asses and are now wailing..

I doubt USAnians would be that complacent.
Not sure Tinubu even legally won.

But in the US it is a structural problem.
The electoral college gives more representation to smaller states.
California, population ~40 million, has 54 electoral votes and has 2 senatorial votes
Massachusetts, population ~8 million, has 10 electoral votes and has 2 senatorial votes
Wyoming, populations 540 thousand, has 3 electoral votes and has 2 senatorial votes.

Again, this is ahistorical and illiterate. You can read up even in the best Encyclopedias -

https://www.britannica.com/video/achievements-world-mosque-Islamic-Cordoba-Spain-construction/-194004

https://www.researchgate.net/publication/300077166_The_Islamic_Golden_Age_A_Story_of_the_Triumph_of_the_Islamic_Civilization

Its not a matter of your irrelevant opinion. Its a matter of historical record.

You can just as well declare that by your opinion, there were no middle ages and no renaissance.
I read the links. The first is essentially meaningless - building a mosque is not evidence of scientific or technological advancement.
Do you actually read the links. Are you able to make arguments of your own huh

Extract from the second

Many cultures and societies contributed to the flowering of Islam’s Golden Age. Central among them were the Persians, the predecessor people of modern Iran. Persians were the main force behind the creation of the Abbasid Dynasty (750 CE-1258 CE), one of the most culturally sophisticated societies that gave birth to the Golden Age. The Berbers of North Africa, a non-Arabic population, played a major role in the emergence of the Golden Age as did the Fatimid Dynasty (909 CE –1171 CE ) which were contemporaneous with the Abbasids. The Andalusian Dynasties (711 CE to 1492 CE) of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) also played a prominent role in the emergence of the Golden Age. Indeed, the architectural achievements of the Andalusian dynasties made some of the most remarkable, longest lasting, and internationally recognized Islamic contributions even today

Islam’s Golden Age, however, was not just the outcome of Islamic achievements. Indeed, the Islamic empires of the period included large numbers of Jews, Christians, Hindus, and even Chinese who made significant and lasting contributions to Islamic socio-cultural-scientific achievements. All worked together in relative harmony to realize the enormous intellectual, scientific, technological, architectural, and other contributions that formed the basis of the what now is called the Islamic Golden Age. The work of the ancients, but especially that of the Greeks and Romans, also were respected during the dynasties of the Golden Age and contributed, too, to Islamic philosophy and scientific achievements. Muslims, in turn, preserved the ancient texts of these scholars and in doing so made an enormous contribution to both Islamic and world intellectual heritage. Greek and Roman contributions to Islamic development were made possible through the translation of Greek, Roman, Aramaic, and other texts in Arabic—the functioning Lingua Franca of the period.

Islam conquers, converts and claims the historical progress and ongoing achievements of conquered peoples and territories as its own.

This from what is a certain sponsored piece. Another excerpt.

Many scholars believe that, even today, Muslims are awaiting the rebirth of its Golden Age and, through it, the resurgence of Islam as one of the world’s renewed cultural and religious influences. Such a hoped for outcome is a collective aspiration of Muslims and transcends linguistic, cultural, and even ethnic differences

Please tell me in which reality grin. The only care of ee.slam is to conquer and subjugate the whole world. At which point they will casually re-label all advances as ee.slam.meek in origin. But ultimately regress back to it's inherent savagery. Same 'ole, same 'ole.

The development of mankind is not tied to religions in this way. Nonetheless, if you are consistent, please produce one good thing in same terms which was new and solely as a result of Christianity.
All advanced scientific discovery and technological innovation came from and continues to come from historically JC nations - the phone, TV, computers, satellites, motor vehicles, planes etc.

The JC ethos see's all men as created in the image of God. Fostering equality and individual liberties. This drives the pursuit of learning and research, leading to advancement and progress. It demonstrates Gods order and rationality in creation, engendering the pursuit rational inquiry and scientific discovery. Only the culture that arises out of this this ethos has proven capable of doing that. Nothng from the MAW or SSA.

DeepSight:
Christianity was all these things for a long time. Its not that long ago that the Church supervised the witch burnings of hundreds of thousands of women, and hung or persecuted scientists such as Giordano Bruno and Galileo.
Nope. Christianity was never any f those things. Christianity was abused, or at best misinterpreted by some, but when practised in truth delivers prosperity and well-being.

Till date, there are some incorrectly exegeted texts and downright non-scriptural practices. Tithing for example. But that is not Christianity.

It's interesting how the one thing no historically JC country or contemporary community practices or makes a case for slavery. It's always been the opposite when the text is read and applied as intended. Christianity which you dishonestly claim advocates slavery, has it nowhere in view.
Unlike the MAW and SSA.

Deepsight is well answered.
Subjugation is what led to grand mosques built on top of other shrines. Don't forget they was built with slave labour who were treated in the most degrading way possible.

Defining Retrospective Appropriation as the process where a dominant power rebrands the existing achievements of a conquered people as "theirs" to justify their superiority or "civilizing" mission.
This best explains most Muslim golden age achievements.

I've read relevant parts and quotes , mostly where authors made a claim, were challenged by the likes of Dr Zakir Naik and any prominent Muslim. The best debates are with that Prince of Peace YouTube channel who is a native Quran speaker ,thus can't be written off by the usual excuses of "Oh you don't understand classical Arabic, the Commands were abrogated , etc.
I've preferred quotations on what's in those sahih hadeeths and especially what Muslims say when infidels are not listening.

I can guess where you are leading to........
Do you know the 5 prayers curse non Muslims every day?

He is 100% correct. If he said all inventions were by by Judeo Xtianity cultures he is wrong on the inventions of suicide vests and suicide kamikaze drones for example . Those are pure Muslim inventions.
Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by basilico: 10:58pm On Apr 10
Deepsight. My very first post here as basilico is me asking Muslims if We should use the hadeeths or the Quran when debating them. If you quoted the hadeeths they would say oh it's not saheeh ( authentic ) you need to know Arabic ,you need to understand classical Arabic if you do ,then finally only the Quran is true ,.... They had like a list of 19 ways to shut you down.
They all chickened out after I showed them that Islam without hadeeths is incomplete. That was in 2013

By then quite a number of muslims used to post a lot on the Christian section,it was a very lively debate sub forum , until they decided to push all Islam debate questions into the Islam section Then made you literally recite the shahada before posting there .
We would post topics in the Christian section ,a mod would move it to the Islam section and kill it

.

Why will I need to learn from Trump when I have my own father t teach me? Did you look to your father for learning or from Kieir Stermer
I learned from my father and my mother, and from friends and the people we engaged with and their thoughts about them which they shared with me being we were that close, and at those who were around me like my uncles and aunties and neighbours and their opinions and conduct and even of those I read about in books and watched on telly.

I'd sit with my father and others and listen to news and read the paper and we'd state our opinions of what we read and heard and watched, and I can just about imagine what he'd teach child me watching today by his own behaviour and conduct and opinions.

Some 'fathers' behaved in ways I have trained myself to behave even on forums where even my gender confuses some not to talk of knowing whom I am, and from some I learnt most definitely not to emulate because my father and mother were not emulating or voting for such people.

Sum of it is, children learn from what their parents condone. And you condone dump a lot then excuse his bad behaviour as "not your morality compass", ignoring the fact your own morals might compass others or you don't care where it compasses or can't compass anywhere else.

I'm wondering.

Please answer me. Why should Obama demand every Obamacare mandate should include free $20,000 annual worth of PrEP pills or injections to stop you getting AIDS/ HIV.
Doesn't it encourage rapists to go on without fear of contracting HIV?
Or encourage prostitution.
