lawani:We are talking of now, these modern times... besides knight Templars were protecting merchant and the free world from rampaging ottoman empire, it was a response to the barbarity of the Ottomans... besides that was in barbaric times, since the 18th century no record of killings under Christianity. Stop supporting barbarity with useless argument. The muslim north is being destroyed because you people take 12th century culture and lifestyle to practice in this 2026. Unless you adapt and change, the north will completely destroy itself with barbarity. Look at the north with sharia law, yet it produces all the terrorist in Nigeria. |

lawani:Of course Islam copied some Christian texts, Abrahamic texts, this is the only similarity. The prophets are completely different. Jesus was an epitome of love, peace, forgiveness, sacrifice. Never compare the two, Islam only copied the Abrahamic verses, the two religion are as different as night and day, I have studied both. Christian doctrine is more sound, wiser and makes more sense...the Christian doctrine also inspires a peaceful world...no discrimination, no harsh words for unbelievers in the Christian Bible and no Christian laws, like you have sharia. The two are different. Have you read the Bible before, lol. |

dederocs:If Muslims were ruling Christians would fight them. They are all the same. If protestants are ruling Catholics will fight them. The Shia Muslims will fight the Sunni. The Lord"s Resistance army or so is a Christian terrorist group and so was the IRA. Christian nations nowadays are more prosperous is the only difference and Muslim nations were like that during the dark ages. They were more civilized. You can't just rewrite history to say Christians are peaceful when they were absolutely not. Christian saints burnt over 100k people on the stakes in Europe during the inquisition for being witches. No Muslim atrocity can match that |

lawani:Nonsense gibberish, what you wrote there is not reason, just nonsense. Christians don't see religion as a competition but muslims do, Christianity preaches forgiveness and mercy. Not jihad, nobody is called infidel in the Bible, no demeaning words, or words that builds resentment and animosity in the Bible. |

True Christianity has no fault,it was after the death of Christ's faithful apostles that the great apostasy started happening courtesy of the merging of Christianity and the the secular world (the church being made a state religion in Rome) ,so the Roman Catholic church started this whole distortion of the truth, and that's why it's been hard for men like you to give Christianity a try...the whole thing have been middled up with falsehood...but please don't stop searching for the truth.. sonmvayina: |

dederocs:If you have one million tithe payers, will you want the number to drop given that you have expenses? You are wrong that they are not competing for members. In the Bible people are warned against being unequally yoked with unbelievers. Yes good morally upright people are dismissed as unbelievers in the Bible. |

lawani:That yoke means marriage, it's nothing compared to all the animosity and resentment the Islamic hadiths create, the animosity and resentment sharia create, the false sense of importance it creates in you people, is a big problem. Just look at north and south, it tells you that the Islamic ideology is ruining the north, call it extremism or whatever, but it's from the Islamic religion that all these terrorists learnt all these hate and animosity, and the north will burn to the ground, unless the ideology is changed to reflect forgiveness, love, peace as the Christian ideology does. There is hate naturally in man, man is evil naturally, so it is wise for religion to pacify man, to make him more forgiving and loving not turn him to a jihadists or create animosity in his heart by calling others infidels... nobody is competing with you people, religion is personal not a competition. |

obonujoker:It is the grand delusions for me. This self righteous all knowing mindset, that your own imported religion is the right religion while others are worshippers of the wrong God. In modern English, the word PAGAN is slandering. The word pagan is religious profiling. Worship your own God and respect others with their choices. You have no moral ground to call others out for doing masquerade, it is what their fathers did long before the thieves came with Bible to brainwashed others like you. |

obonujoker:Traditions that do not glorify God from your perspective, there is no place in the bible that your claim is explicitly stated. I've lived in a Catholic dominated country for coming on 3 decades and I can tell you what you call pagan celebrations which they have observed from the middle ages continue to be present in their cultural practices such as Christmas. |

erniok:. Far much more better than you my brethren. I am not mocking you, I can’t even try it, because I cannot mock those whom God hasn’t blessed as much as HE has blessed me, but I am telling you the truth, just as I tell my children. Go and focus on your life |

oroje1:The truth is what I stated. God gave the nations laws to guide our human journey. He gave the Jews the Torah, we the igbos he gave odinala/Omenala, to guide us..it's an everlasting covenant. It was the Romans who created Jesus and Christianity. It never started in Israel. No jew will start a movement contrary toGods laws, when he/she knows the consequences.. |

sonmvayina:Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Read also Isaiah 53:1-12 |

And who's the God who gave human different ways of worshipping him knowing quite well that that would cause confusion.... speaking biblically, God has always had one way of guiding those who he chooses.from Abraham to the nation of Israel, and when he rejected the Israelites it's only through Christianity...the African religions you mentioned are all demon worshippers sonmvayina: |
| Re: You Can't Be A Christian And Still Join In Pagan Traditions by lawani(m): 5:25pm On Apr 13 |
oroje1:They are demon worshippers but we had nobody killing over God, raping and etc until the God worshippers arrived around 2000 years ago |
| Re: You Can't Be A Christian And Still Join In Pagan Traditions by sonmvayina(m): 6:02pm On Apr 13 |
oroje1:Maybe your ancestors were demon worshippers, mine were not. We follow the divine laws given to our ancestors by God our Creator. That law has been passed down by words of mouth from generation to generation. The Romans created Jesus as an insult to God. Christianity is an aberration. It is idolatry/human sacrifice what God forbids and calls an abomination. |
