The US restrictions on maritime navigation and transit in international waters are illegal, Iranian military says.

The Iranian military says an announced naval blockade on vessels by the United States in international waters would be illegal and amount to piracy, warning that no Gulf ports would be safe if its own were threatened.

The US military said it would begin a blockade of all Iranian ports on Monday at 14:00 GMT, after talks between the warring sides in Pakistan collapsed.

I didn't know that the Iranian army are very good comedians if not what's this.......it was all fun when they were blocking the straits from US and her allies but now that they're about to be beaten in their own game they're crying foul.....funny enough they're still blocking the strait while cracking the comedy. grin

The Iranian acclaimed leverage over the strait of Hormuz have been defeated. grin

on any new negotiation Iran have no power or leverage anymore. they will have to accept any terms thrown at them otherwise their economy will be grounded. its that easy.

the attempted closure of the strait for more than a month now is illegal and a world economy sabotage. its a Global crime.

if there is sustained blockade on Iran for 6 month that country is finished. while the world moved ahead for alternative.

Saudi have access to the red sea.

the middle east country should come together to build a canal through the red sea. to avoid future problem like this.

The US are trying to bring out a reason why they should attack Iran. They want to frustrate Iran and force them to be the first to attack their vessels. And give the world a good justification when they retaliate.
That reminds me of attack on pearl harbor. When Japan were finding it difficult to achieve their aim they were forced to attack US ships and vessels and before you know it, things got out of hand.
The US are playing exact same card here.

Trump is not winning this fight. The ter-ro-rist Iranian state has a lot of bargaining cards: one or two missiles on Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar or Saudi Arabia ports... Trump go beg. I really pity the once stable and safe Gulf states that found themselves in the crossfire.

And of course oil is now over $100 pb, which means global fuel cost is going up. Americans will soon be paying $6 per gallon and more for aviation 😂.
