They are really not in good terms. A lot of politicking has gone into this. I was at a rally and project commissioning/birthday celebration of Gov. Dapo Abiodun when he openly ignored YAYI.
Then he wants soft landing as hes going head to head with OGD for senatorial ticket.
Almost of them are the same sha but I believe the YAYI will be a lot better than any Ogun State governor in recent memory

He is only a TWO TERM Senator in Lagos and not Ogun State.

No, Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (widely known as Yayi) is not a two-term senator in Ogun State, as of April 2026.

Current Position: He is a first-term senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the 10th Senate, having been elected in the 2023 general elections.

Previous Legislative Experience: He previously served as a two-term senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District (2015–2023) before shifting his political base to Ogun
