You Cannot Intimidate Us - Retired Police Officers Owed Gratuities & Pensions by Racoon(op): 2:44pm On Apr 14

Retired police officers on April 13, 2026, stormed the Force Headquarters in Abuja to demand payment of their pensions.

The retired pensioners, in solidarity, sang as they marched to the force headquarters to register their displeasure over unpaid gratuities and poor pension conditions.

They sang songs that depicted they were dissatisfied with the way their pension was being handled and how much was being paid to them.

Retired police officers are pushing back against intimidation, saying "You cannot intimidate us" after a senior officer allegedly threatened one of them during a protest at the force HQ over unpaid pensions. The officers claim they're fighting for their rights and won't be silenced.

The protest highlights ongoing issues with pension payments, sparking tensions between retired officers and the police leadership.

Tinubu supporters are the real enemies of Nigeria.

They have consistently supported governments with the worst security and economic records since 1999. Governments that impoverished millions of Nigerians.

They denied and tried to cover up ongoing religious violence that has killed thousands and displaced millions of their fellow countrymen especially in the Middle Belt region.

These same police officers helped the institution and government to oppress the citizens. Now out of service, they are being oppressed by the same system they sadly helped to institute oppression, regression, suppression and subjugation. Karma does not forgives or forgets.
Re: You Cannot Intimidate Us - Retired Police Officers Owed Gratuities & Pensions by Gbadugbakun(m):
If they dare protest, police and soldiers should open fire on them and teargas them. That's exactly what they did to civilians during their time in service.

The funny thing is that the people stopping them are their colleagues who will be in the same situation sooner than later.

The same useless police officer stopping these people will protest in few years time.

This is called vicious cycle of suffering retired police officers in Nigeria and nobody will get them out of it, they will use their hands and break the circle when they are tired of it.

I don't pity them at all anyway......

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

These are people who dedicated their lives to protecting others, and this is how they’re treated in retirement? It’s truly heartbreaking. They deserve dignity, respect, and full payment of everything owed to them

I doubt that they knew a day like this would come so soon. You guys should enjoy what you’ve been doing to the poor masses; aiding politicians in power to deprive them of their basic rights and privileges.
Re: You Cannot Intimidate Us - Retired Police Officers Owed Gratuities & Pensions by Mindlog: 3:02pm On Apr 14
Very comedic, those stopping them, would face same situation when they retire.

Some years back, the oga patapata of the commission embezzle all the pension funds.
The problem never ends!
The people has failed to ask important questions.
Pencom has failed!
Now, I put this to all... Do we really need an election come 2027?
What we need is simple! Dissolution.
Dissolve Nigeria!

The joke is on the same policemen who shoot at the masses whenever they protest on their behalf.

Where are those masturbators of "on your mandate" we stand. They won't gather here to chastise their failures as a party and as a government but when Obi or ADC's name is mention on the headlines, they will be wanking the demented brains everywhere. Marketing a failed and corrupt government.

Very useless people
Re: You Cannot Intimidate Us - Retired Police Officers Owed Gratuities & Pensions by SmartPolician: 3:06pm On Apr 14
In the past, they hardly owed policemen pensions; I'm referring to early 2000s. This country is getting worse every year.

The money wey some people don steal already . Few years time , the ones in uniform will join them in the protest when they also retires, and the cycle continue . Nawa

Democracy is very useless. Bloody civilians with no usefullness to the society are the ones enjoying the life and resources and wealth of a country while those who truly worked hard for the society such as security forces, teachers, doctors, cant earn well. I f$cking dislike goverment. Like, there is no usefullness that these bloody civilians serve the people aside we working hard for their enjoyment and that of their families. Like, govt is a big scam. They will start war and the security men will go and fight the war while these civilians remain at home, enjoying. Look at Ukrain president, he has been f$cking his wife but soldiers, police men, are there fighting and dying. See eh, no body born of a human will ever make me fight any war for any country until the day these politicians also go to war or draft their kids to fight war.

When you were dispersion protesters at the behest of thieving politicians you did not know your turn will come?

Even the guy threatening them will still have to protest to collect his entitlements someday.
