so sad, this is millions going down the drain. Where the 6 ivfs done in the same hospital? Own egg or donor egg? Cos I'm looking at the possible cos, if same hospital it could be facility factor and embryo quality, if it's different hospitals then it's definitely embryo quality. Quality of the sperm and egg has a role to play on implantation especially with surrogates.
Don't just give up, make research and read extensively before you try again. If using own egg, build your egg quality and oga's sperm with supplements.
Thank you for the words of encouragement. I will do as advised

Happy new year guys! Last time I was here, I had a failed cycle after using embryo glue, intralipids, acupuncture and all. I rested a little because we needed to recuperate from the millions that went down. Also travelling back and forth from the US was a struggle. Taking several days off work, and losing both time and money. We decided to try surrogacy. Grabbo hospital Abuja advised we look for a surrogacy agency. We did and went with Chris World surrogacy (someone here introduced me to them). To the glory of God…I am a mother of twin girls who are 1 year old now ( 1st try…2 surrogates = negative , 2nd try …. 2 surrogates positive). One of our surrogates lost her pregnancy after 4/5 weeks ( she was carrying one). The twins stayed, though they came early but are very healthy. This year, we are back to Grabbo for gender selection for a boy. Myself and two surrogates as advised by the agency. Testing is in a few days. Hoping for the best. IVF has no best hospital, you would have to pray, do research and ultimately do what works for you. Baby dust to us all. Plus the agency is affordable. Gender selection was not affordable and I promised not to do it again (about 12 million Naira for two donors). If you are like me and cannot afford to travel back and forth, you may consider surrogacy. My girls have their US passport valid for 5 years. The agency gave us all we needed for the embassy, also Grabbo hospital gave us all we needed too. All documents was accepted at the US consulate in Abuja one time. That’s why we have the liver to try again. So help me God.

I hope this info sets someone free or helps someone make a decision. Parental order is arranged by agency. I just watched a video on tiktok with a lady going back and forth to court to get parental order. I did not go through a single stress for that.
Hello dear please having conflicting information and watching video from a lady on TikTok on the birth certificate.l am a bit confused on what to do did you put your name or name of surrogate on the birth certificate then changed to yours after getting parental order ?

Please stop beating yourself, it's not your fault.
Those people are thieves. They don't show you what they are doing so you are not unto them.
They will only show you diagram and be explaining the stupid diagram to you.
We were three that did transfer none was positive and the Dr refused to see us that he is very busy, thank God they said he was busy we would have spent more money aside the more than 5m he collected
I believe the only way to get positive results there is if you go with someone that knows him personally if not you will just be among their sacrificial lamb.
My anger is them collecting money knowing that they won't do anything for you not that anything is seriously wrong with you that can't be fixed. Sis your post brought out my anger, my husband said he wants to sue them.
Thank God I met another Dr who is not after money but positive results and I got my positive there
hello, can you please the doctor to me. most of these hospitals are scammers. i am paying for ivf for my cousin who opened up to me about their situation. if this fails, i dont think i will be paying for them agan and they cant afford to pay it themselves.

Hello everyone,
I'm planning to start IVF treatment and would really appreciate honest reviews.
Between Androcare, Bridge Clinic, and Nordica, which has the highest success rate for a single IVF cycle?
I’m particularly looking for first-hand experiences. Cost is important, but success rate matters more to me right now.
Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏
hello, which did you end up using and what was the result

Information might be useful to someone planning to bring their baby to UK from Nigeria and the person got the baby through surrogacy. All the information below was gathered from @LifewithPatujchi videos on Tiktok.

Parental order/Parental responsibilities should be obtained from the Family Court by Nigeria Magistrate court.

@LifewithPatujchi, it is not advisable to change jurisdiction unless you are sure that the order from that state will be accepted by UKVI.

I got mine from the immunisation centre, as officials are usually available there on immunisation days. If not, you can visit their office directly.

A birth certificate with a CR code is acceptable.

Please note that, under Nigerian law, international passports for babies born through surrogacy can only be obtained at the Immigration Headquarters in Abuja. The affidavit should include the surrogate mother’s details.

Hi everyone, please I would really appreciate any help or advice from this platform. I was recently diagnosed with low ovarian reserve, and I’ve attached my test results. Has anyone here successfully managed this either naturally or medically?
Pls help a sister..

Nothing to manage cos you can't increase your eggs. As women we are born with the number of eggs we have.

You only need one egg for any baby .
You can improve the quality of the eggs you have

Find a good ivf hospital so you can improve your odds .
People here can recommend a few

All the best.

Your FSH is a bit elevated but that doesn't conclude that you have low ovarian reserve, you still need to do AMH test, that is what will indicate if you have eggs or not. PCOS, lifestyle, age and some herbs can elevate your FSH.

If after the AMH tests it's still the same, then you may be encouraged to use some supplements for egg quality or use donor eggs if you are going for ivf

Good evening, mamas
Are there people currently using Prime care fertility in Abuja?
Or can anyone recommend a fertility clinic that has a high IVF success story in Lagos? Thanks!

I don't know how to begin my conversation. We're both 35yrs old and we've been married for 6years now. And ever since we got married we've been trying to conceive. But guess God is still saying the time is not right yet. We tried IVF Jan/Feb but it failed cos the hospital said our eggs began to fertilize after some hours then failed. After a followup consultation with the gynecologist , she suggested we try getting egg from a donor. She suggested we buy eggs from any voluntary donor. When we explained our situation to my wife's sister, she was willing to give us as many eggs as we want. Considering the fact that she has 3kids already and is not planning on having more anytime soon.
Have tried checking Google reviews of some fertility hospital in nigeria. But it just seems like I'm going in circles. Thats why I'm thinking of the good people of nairaland will be kind enough to point me to a reputable hospital in nigeria with a reasonable cost.

I would not advice you use a donor you know though. Hospitals provide donor service at a fee. If in Lagos Androcare, they are good. Abuja- Primecare have good reviews too.

And why is that ?. Although have contacted Primecare and the hospital told me they don't accept me bringing my own donor. Even when I told them I will provide all legal documents need. The hospital told me point blank it's against their policy and didn't give me any reason.

Please listen to the above advise.

Don't use a donor you know, especially a very close blood relative (your wife's sister) due to emotional attachment.

You know technically, the child born through her egg donation is her child right . Please be wise and avoid future problems.

Okay, thanks for your advice. We were just thinking of having children that have our traits. Not having a child that might end up not looking like us both academically, physically and morally. But at this junction guess we just have to take what fate has in store for us.
