Jakarta:
Yes, but the APC being the incumbent, and the current weapon fashioned against Nigeria, they should drop us where PDP, left off, then we will drag PDP to drop us where they picked us from.

But APC said $1 - $216 was not okay how come it is okay now with $1 - ₦1345?
The problem is, when we remove APC as we should , you will come back here to tell us in eight years time that Tinubu was the best.

If you cannot see the problem that Tinubu is part of and continuing, then you won't see better government for Nigeria.

You forgot a lot or you're ignorant of a lot.
The country is a continuum, same with government. It doesn't reset every 4 or 8 years. All the problems that should have been sorted at the foundation remains structural defects. Education, electricity, basic Healthcare, infrastructure, corruption. Imagine since OBJ time when terrorists were in their teens.

When we were fewer, had goodwill of other nations and were supposed to be saving in billions of dollars. We were borrowing, to the point of borrowing to pay salaries. These are the issues.
There was nowhere in the interview that OBJ said it happened during his tenure. Post the full interview if I'm wrong.

Just a few years ago, not decades ago, no no, your N1,000 note could buy you so many things. Many loaves of bread, many liters of petrol, plates of beans/bread/stew/egg...

APC came and LEGENDHERO and the likes told us that we were living a fake life in NIgeria, that GEJ was a kindergarten president...

So now what can you N1,000 buy you?

Can it buy a full loaf of bread?

Can it buy you 1 liter of petrol?

Can it buy you a meal at Chicken Republic?

What can you buy with your N1,000 now?

Ur humor game tight 😁

What can other countries buy currently with their highest denomination

See, you opposition should stop this hatred arguments with no meaning.

The global war that have been going on for years is it only Nigeria that's affected?

Average daily minimum wage in Ghana is 21GHC but barbing alone on average saloon is 50GHC. Average restaurant with decent meal, you will have 150GHC
Inflation in Ghana is 3.2% while Nigeria just jumped to 15%

Stay calm

nairalanda1:
Actually we were always living a fake life.

Tinubu even was one of the biggest promoters of the fake life . He did demonstrate against subsidy removal

But by August 2022, decades of living the fake life caught up with us. Debt was being serviced by 97% of government revenue and borrowing was becoming more difficult and our reserves were almost dry.

I will end by saying that you will be back when Obi or Atiku have finished their eighth year telling us that Tinubu was not bad.

No sane country lives on oil alone. Sane countries live by a good tax system and a diversified industrial economy that exports manufactured goods and services.

We are paying the price for years of living by oil money. Not by innovation, production and industries.

And their Tinubu is continuing the same trend. And there is no indication that anything will change
Speak for yourself and your privilege colleagues that benefitted from government largesse.

We built houses and trained our children with little effort and you call that fake? Come and pull down those houses and the shopping plaza.

Fake man

Tinubu is not only part of the problem, but the worst and horrible part of the problem. The PDP government are not saint, but APC is worst, a weapon fashioned against Nigeria.

Did you read the person's statement I replied at all?

Or you just want to be irrational in your response?

Didn't he compare the purchasing power of the highest denomination of Ghana currency with that of Nigeria and claimed they were the same?

Which I showed him the truth...

Are you people actually like this or just acting to be like this?
Bro you are still getting it wrong, you should have told the guy that 200 cedis is 24k in naira and not equivalent to 1000 naira .
Re: ₦1000: What Can You Buy With Nigeria's Highest Currency? by Nozarashi: 8:35pm On Apr 15
If all you're after is for the highest denomination to have good purchasing power, then support the FG in creating a #10,000 note.

Abeg, tell him the simple truth again. If Israel leaves everything to God, by now, Iran would have level their land.
Nigerians mentality of God doing everything for them is absurd.
