Our ranking did not move despite beating 20th ranked iran. I guess the draw limited our movement. https://inside.fifa.com/fifa-world-ranking/men/news/france-1st-fifa-coca-cola-world-ranking-april-2026 |

Lookman has to win the UCL and Copa Del ray scoring in the semis and finals to stand a chance of winning the APOY. The Morrocan mafia that controls CAF will look for any loop hole to give the award to either Diaz or Hakimi. Right now technically they are both in the lead because of the fraudulent Afcon they won and also the Player of the tournament striiped from Mane to give Diaz. If CAS reverses CAF decisions on time that will help lookman. Another big obstacle for Lookman is that Nigeria did not qualify for the World Cup. If Nigeeia had qualified I wouldn't even be worried because Lookman always shows up in tournaments. We shall see. |

Kog45:Iwobi is the only player I like more than Lookman. The more I like you, the more I critique you. There's a reason, an old man like Griezmann who's leaving at the end of the season finishes games but Lookman doesn't. |

Amedino99:Wow, Iran ranked 20th? Walai, the biggest boys in world football are not more than 9 in number which makes our 26th position very unflattering if looked at from a proper perspective. |

TheLoneCitizen:Reason why we dey here dey discuss till we agreed and move on...why making his defending more focal than his overall performance with a goal against Barcelona in champions league quarter final, abi the two goals conceded were Lookman poor defending. |

TheLoneCitizen:Defensive duty and yet the same Athletico Madrid has been conceding funny goals not traceable to Lookman Ademola. Some of the mistakes the defenders make, if it's Lookman I'm sure we wouldn't hear word again. |

His point is Griezmann still puts in defensive shifts better than Lookman and he is not lying. Kog45: |

lbrichman2:lOh you think I agreed,I dey pull lonecitizen leg ni baba. Lookman scored a goal that put ATM through instead of praising him for job well done na his defending display be the issue... My question that you guys never answered me...how many Nigeria top players una dey review their overall inputs like Lookman? Haba, champions league quarter final match against Barcelona and our boy made the difference but here we're talking about his defending ability...Why he is not having 90 minutes on the field?bla bla. |

TheSuperNerd:Doc,when you dropped your post on Lookman performance against Barcelona, did you talked about his defending display?NO but you singled out his goal and you praised him for job well done. My point,Lookman defending shouldn't been focal point after his performance against Barcelona, his goal should be the koko. Kog45 and TheLoneCitizen sabi wetin we dey talk,my good man Ibrichman and Goke7 know the koko.....and I know you sabi just dey look us to dey drag the thing go |

Kog45:Chuks would need a coach like Guardiola to help him reach his next level It would take a lot of coaching, benching and disciplining Unfortunately that is unlikely to happen. That's why I think we should do everything possible to bring in Femi Azeez Dude has a higher ceiling and reminds me of Olise |

Kog45:😂 elder how many top players we get sef e pass Lookman and osihmen? na Abi na chuks be top player? Even Iwobi is just somewhere. Please cool down Lookman is still settling into the Athletico set up which is quite different from Atalanta or the serie A where he is coming from and for me so far he’s making progress but let’s not alway be too touchy any time questions are being asked I even responded earlier that he’s fulfilled his role in the game while other players should fulfil theirs. It’s like osihmen offside awareness that’s always being questioned from time to time so elder relax our boy is doing good and that’s what matters! |

BascoVanVeli:The guy has come of age and he’s shining like the Sun, I was almost getting emotional when Real Madrid went ahead as I was getting nervous for Olise but what a way to end a beautiful night with a beautiful goal, just too poetic. |
