Governor Abdullahi Sule on Friday led Senator Aliyu Wadada to the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where he formally presented him to President Bola Tinubu as the consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State.

DAILY POST recalls that Governor Sule of Nasarawa State recently announced Wadada as his preferred successor.

Sule made the announcement during a meeting with political appointees at the Nasarawa State Government House.

He told the gathering that the process of identifying a successor had been ongoing for over a year, involving wide consultations that went beyond the boundaries of Nasarawa State.

According to him, the consultations included discussions with foreign and prospective investors, youth groups, women organisations, traditional rulers, party officials and various stakeholders from across the state’s three senatorial zones, as well as selected members of his cabinet.

The disease of feudalism is spreading fast.
No one cares whether he has a vision.
No one will ask him any questions.
No one will put him to a test.

But when the common man goes to the market he asks questions of the goods he buys and negotiates a better deal. When he goes to the bank he asks questions of the teller, when he goes to the clinic he asks questions of the doctor for the best course of treatment.

But when it concerns the very thing that binds all these together to determine his experience of living in the country, he says it doesn't matter. Let someone else ask the questions.

This thing these governors are doing will destroy APC. It's looking like some are more important than others. Allow others to contest too. If we have strong opposition in this country, this nonsense will backfire

Wadada has been running for governor since 1993. Him and Atiku have membership cards of over 10001 political parties. Probably Sule is pushing for him out of sympathy. Wadada is intellectually sound. I've heard him speak.

Sule has been driving around Lafia without security, convoy or siren just to meet critical stakeholders to sell Wadada's candidacy. The other day he was seen driving alone to meet some of them under a tree openly in public. That's a man assured he has done well for his people. If Nasarawa state should have another governor like Sule, then a lot will change in that state.

What is Lagos model? A system where your votes don't count; right? So, a rigged criminal system is good for Nigeria? Where few criminals are more powerful than government institutions: you call that democracy? We have many enemies of Nigeria on this platform.

Shame on the poll writer . Doesn’t know anything

Why ‘does’…’Governors’ instead of why ‘do’ ‘governors’.
