Ryan Alebiosu was indeed fantastic. This just shows that our RB role is sorted. Adding Michael Kayode, if that works, would be Overkill. grin

Isife at Slavia is still coming through too.

AndSunGorilla:
BBC reports that Alebiosu had a fantastic game. According to dem sef, paraphrasing, Alebiosu should be getting promoted to the EPL too based on his performance today.

Antoine Semenyo on the Expectations of playing for Ghana...

NB: He has 3goals in 34 caps (24 starts).
3 goals in 34 caps is horrible for the star man of your nation, imagine if Osimhen had 3 goals in 34 caps

I am convinced that 1994 team would probably have reached the final or even won bloody everything if they didnt starve Yeking on purpose and if they just did not sabotage themselves vs Italy.

Yekini was indeed the best athlete of that generation. No one came close. Not Okocha, not Oliseh, Not Amunike... Not even Finidi. Yekini was the most outstanding athlete of that golden era and our arrowhead of destruction. He would have scored more than 37.

Is it not still what’s happening now and when some people point it out there will be all sorts of self righteous arguments! I will always point out the World Cup winning 2002 Brazilian team who did everything to ensure Ronaldo d Lima surpassed Pele goal record for the national team and still end up winning the competition. That’s the right mentality any serious team will have no matter who the coach is cos at the end it’s the entire team and nation takes the glory but personal glory hunting will always come short of any team potential.

I feel bad for Yekini cos in this social media and punditry era the gangling striker will be reaping heavily from all those years of hard toiling. Very sad!

Emmanuel Ayaosi assist🅰️ AGAIN in the Czech Liga.

Lucky Ezeh scored⚽️ off his assist as MFK Karvina leads 2-1 away at Dukla Praha with 76mins gone.

Samson Tijani played the first 45 for Dukla and got subbed out

AFN then didn't challenge Francis Obikwelu and Gloria Alozie switch unlike in Ofili's case. NSC petitioned World Athletics to challenge the switch, claiming that after the commission had paid her training grant for the year 2025, she decided to switch.
Also both Obikwelu and Alozie were residents of the countries (Portugal and Spain) they switched to at that time. Also there was no rule of 3 years waiting period then.
There was also allegation that money was involved in the switch, that Turkey was recruiting for 2028 Olympics

Wrexham benching Arthur Okonkwo today. Ward in goal and they lead 2-0 vs Stoke.

Hillary Gong Goal⚽️ and Assist🅰️ for Spartak Trnava in the Slovak Nike Liga.

Semi Ajayi vs Osayi Samuel as Hull leads 1-0 vs Birmingham in the Championship. Hull needs 3pts to stay ahead of Wrexham and Derby for that 6th position (final promotion playoff spot).

Doc,it took Yekini good four years to really established himself with eagles and this contributed to not scoring more than 37 goals...He made his presence felt from 1987 to 1994 after he made his debut in 1983.

Well Yekini form dipped a bit during US 94,fact him and Oliseh are culprits against Italy.... Yekini missed a very cleared chance created by Mike Emenalo and Oliseh gentle tackling gave Dino Baggio needed equalizer.

Eagles from 1988 to 1994 worked for Yekini to achieve his all time goal record.I can only remember Siasia pass that he failed to give Yekini who was in better position against Ivory Coast, any other ones I can't recollected.

Foreign groomed players seem to have a better grasp of football basics when compared with home groomed players. Foreign groomed players tend to keep it simple and yet are very effective.

I believe t.hat the beauty of football lies in keeping it simple.

Watching Alex Iwobi and Felix Agu, validates this observation.

Subbed in on 74mins, draws a foul to win a penalty for Augsburg late in the game on 90+6mins.
Rieder takes the penalty and scores!

Augsburg wins 2-1 away at Bayer Leverkusen.

Yekini na my bro,so I followed him passionately from 1983 till he left the stage.I was with him when he came to Ilorin to play against Kwara United after he left Europe for NPFL so we do talks about his time with eagles...Yekini knew Siasia na my person and I told him that pass wey yebowei no give you make Westerhoff benched him....he replied oh Yebowei gave me the highest assists but it happened in football...He talked good about his colleagues.

Pls go into archive and watch eagles US 94 matches to get a very cleared pictures of what happened but from 1983 to 1994 Yekini goals came from unselfish players like Siasia,Finidi,Amokachie, Oliseh,Amunike,Elaho and others
