Stop wailing. Compel your government to immediately stop work on that useless coastal highway and divert the trillions to power generation. Just one third of the amount proposed for that road will double power generation within six months. Power will affect the quality of your lives, the survival and profitability of your businesses and will reduce the cost of transportation. What will that road do for you as an individual citizen. Let us emphasize what benefits the most people and what can return on investment practically. Once again. Nigerians should decide how our money is spent. |

It is very disappointing and disastrous. On a scale of 10, it is 0.2/10 in Aboru. |

The State Governors now have the law in their favor. They can provide light for their people but most of them are not making any impact. Only Abia has done something tangible as far as I know. It's easier to fold their arms and blame FG for everything even with the large allocations they now receive. Na we dey do ourselves. We're not focused on the right things. We should be asking our Governors how they're making use of the opportunities now available to them to improve on electricity supply. |

Can you describe this solar pls. How is it? Can it carry the whole appliances in your house including pumping of water? So you don't use nepa at all? No inverter too? Babaibeji2020: |

This is how our own looks like too. Is when you want to sleep that you will see light. Can't really use it to do anything because you need to go sleep early in order to get up fast tomorrow morning. But atleast we dey sleep with fan. They use to bring it too in the afternoon. Na people wey dey house dat time dey enjoy. Mostly women dat use to work from home. Isholad11: |

The money used in this God forsaken Coastline road should have been channelled in improving power supply, but due to their greediness in recouping their election expenses, they quickly embark on this misplaced priority of a project. |

⁸ Love800:Well you gave a hell lotta assignment to respond but I'll try...... My first solar setup was 2×130ah battery bank with 1.6kva pure sine wave inverter with an array of solar panels. My panel array was of various wattage because I bought them bit by bit from friends who wanted to upgrade and sorts. My installer who is a very passionate and understanding person, put up a system I could "manage" but was always low b4 dawn😪 Because I enjoyed the package and it reduced my fuel buying budget,I decided to go off grid..... It's expensive but there's a size for everyone that can be upgraded at your pace. First thing, get a dedicated installer, tell him the appliances that are "important".....with time and funds availability, you can upgrade to the extent you will disconnect from NEPA entirely, that's my plan....." Good luck and try to get lithium battery bank,I really didn't enjoy gel battery till I started using lithium....The DOD is superb |

Dear Nigerians.....I am Nigerian too but i am very ashamed to be Nigerian! Very ashamed that i cannot do anything to help change Nigeria since i ran away from that place since 2000! The youths should be on the streets with Pitch forks ready to die..because you might as well be dead as your future as is the current state of affairs in Nigeria is worse than death! For example...Do you know that in the year 2026, the current Power supply situation in Nigeria is equivalent to the way things were in the United States in the 1920's? Think about it..a country blessed with OIL for goodness sake...abundant oil ......Your country is over a century...(100+ years) behind the United states in terms of power supply! |

Can you state the range(amount) you use to purchase this? Answer this my question clearly too. "You don't use nepa at all?" Babaibeji2020: |

Love800:I don't use nepa at all.... I can't actually state a specific amount because I do upgrades...I swapped my small charge controller for a bigger one, I bought extra lithium battery that's been charged by the inverter powered by the gel battery. The gel battery bank works by day time and stops by 4pm,the lithium bank works till dawn. Plus or minus,my unit could be in the range or 2.8 to 3 million, some panels not included in that fund |
| Re: What Is The Power Situation In Your Area? by Love800(m): 3:55pm On Apr 20 |
My last question pls. So you saying you simply do upgrades. If you could explain dis upgrade to my understanding, i will appreciate. Anyway, if you can't, no problem. I really appreciate everything. Babaibeji2020: |
| Re: What Is The Power Situation In Your Area? by Babaibeji2020(m): 5:02am On Apr 21 |
Love800:By upgrade, I mean swapping my components for higher versions. I started with a pwm charge controller before swapping to mppt. I had one gel battery...130ah, later added another 130ah but now I've included a lithium solar generator. I was using a sachet inverter but it got fried and I got a pure sine wave inverter......lots of upgrades. Availability of funds is the yardstick for upgrades.. |
