Finally got email and collected the passport today. Was successful application

It took 6 weeks to get a 6 weeks visa ...lol.. But we are grateful to God

Hello, trust your day is going on well. I have a question to asked and my question goes this: I have already filled france application form and submitted and also book an appointment on tls but the travel on my tls and France application is June 15th to 20th and my tls appointment is 17th May 2026. but due the late processing time, I want to fill another France application form and change my travel date on the France application to July 15th to 20th but tls appointment travel still remain 15th June to 20th. Hope this doesn't goes after my visa approval chances..

Oh long stay. Your case is a bit different for those who applied for short stay.

Reunification not a family visit. I was told it won’t take time. I’m still here my travel date has passed and nothing. I was using the people who applied for the first week of March to hope but then I just realised mine is different. I don’t even know how long to wait again

I Jst Hope I'm wrong,but Reunification takes longer oo.. minimum 2months Cos it involves allot of verifications.... pls mak proper enquiries tho....Buh If Ur Documentations are verified..it always comes out Positive...Success in advance

Let's see how it goes. You could get your passport collection notice today.
Hopefully, people who did 2nd week of March and have gotten a response come forward to tell us. I think people sharing updates here has been really helpful for those of us waiting to pick up our passports.

Just leave the date you selected, and put your mind that you'll most likely pick up your passport after your travel date. They usually adjust your visa start date if they don't return the passport before the travel date.

If 6th got theirs on Tuesday, then at least 9th should have gotten theirs already.

The Italians are unpredictable. Sometimes, they are quick, other times, they'll just hold on to passports endlessly. With France, at least you have an idea of processing period. Which recently is about 4-6weeks.

My last French visa was for 3 months ooo..but I didnt travel because of COVID restrictions..

Its been over 5 years so I doubt it had any bearing on the current decision

If it has not come yet, very good chance it will come tomorrow. Because 6th March was a Friday and the next working day was the 9th of March, so definitely very close to getting that pick up message

Mine is 12th so I expect 9th to have received so I can have a little bit of hope.

Hello House,I Have a Question...If someone mistakenly submitted a Scanned copy of The proof of accommodation(Attestation de Acuel) For a Family Visit visa,..will it affect the decision?..Cos I heard I'm suppose to submit the Original..but the TLS Agent still added it to my application..

I have gotten the notification for pick up, but I'll have to wait until Monday for DHL to deliver to me at my location before I know the outcome.

Oh thanks for the update. You got the notification today abi. So let's say they're done with 9th of March, it's looking more like it is taking 45 days now. 45 days for me falls on Monday. Hopefully we see people who did between 10th to 11th give an update.

Any update from anyone today?
