You're very correct 💯 I did dollar mutual fund for about 2 years as well, I regretted why I did it.. it is a stagnated investment, invest in Naira and get maximum returns on your funds, you can always convert naira to any foreign currency whenever you need it.. Dollar mutual fund na bad market, forget about that high rate you are seeing on dollar mutual fund. Don't mind bad speculations against Naira, or fear devaluation, investing in Naira is simply the best. Iamblessed8888: |

This is where @Creditalert is useful with his displays of top performing MMF managers/companies, then he started derailing and some of us blocked reading from him. But l guess the order of top performing MMF companies will still be STL, TRUSTBANC and the FIRST ALLY. Not promoting any one ooo. I 'll check the 3 out and make my decision if l were you. omotola224: |

| Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 2:06pm On Apr 24 |

| Re: Mutual Funds by overeighteen: 2:26pm On Apr 24 |
welzyj2:Thanks for your response but why is it like that ? It wasnt this bad in the past. Infact I would get value the very same day even if I requested for withdrawal after 12pm. Are they distressed ? Please let me know if its the time to move my funds out cos my whole life savings is with them. Thanks. |

What's going on with TrustBanc? I tried to log in this evening and encountered this error message. Am I the only one experiencing this?

omotola224:Are people still using Piggyvest? I think they lost their edge. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by omotola224(f): 7:52am On Apr 25 |
Gabriel411:A lot of people still use them Their rate is better than tbills at the moment May I ask you? Yearly roi for mutual funds is it better than piggy vest ? I know the rate fluctuates but based on let’s say last year was did mutual funds do better than piggy vest |
| Re: Mutual Funds by suckprick: 9:42am On Apr 25 |
omotola224:Piggyvest has better interest rate but mmf has flexibility of withdrawing anytime (after first 1 month). |

I asked same question many years ago, while trying to find the best investment for my money. Here is what you must know, both treasury bill and mutual funds are very okay, treasury bill is good for those with instant gratification mentality or with little patience to see their money grow... But mutual fund is far far better on a long term basis or when calculating yearly return on investment.. Mutual fund is a great way to accummulate wealth, if only you are the patient kind of person... omotola224: |

AncestralPowers:Despite both being low risk. One of the reasons most investors start investments with TB/Bond is b/c it is backed by the govt- this gives confident assurance that nothing can happen to your cash except the country collapse I see TB and Fed Govt Bond as lowest of the lowest risk investment 😄 |

AncestralPowers:To be honest I have no problem with leaving the money for a year without touching it I als have my emergency funds set aside I am just trying to see if mmf will give me more returns on my investment at the end of the year or piggyvest/tbills will do better I am fine with the risk for tbills, piggyvest or even mutual funds Just trying to pick the best choice in terms on returns |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Gabriel411: 5:36pm On Apr 25 |
omotola224:While other fund managers are at almost 20% with flexibility on withdrawals. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by AncestralPowers: 6:02pm On Apr 25 |
Please go for mutual fund for maximum returns.. Compounding your interest quarterly will do the magic, and a financial miracle by year-end, particularly when your invested fund is huge, far better than treasury bills. I so much like it when ladies are concerned about investment and returns on their money. omotola224: |
