New update regarding to Bsc legalization at Portugal 🇵🇹 Embassy Abuja. The Embassy of Portugal in Nigeria has changed the method of legalising BSc documents. They are ho longer using the NUC for document verification. Going forward, they Will use lawyers' services to verify BSC documents, the same way they verify HND and SSCE documents. |

| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by freedomtours(m): 7:39pm On Apr 22 |
[/quote I guess you mean to say authenticated, which is at the moe&mofa while legalization is at the embassy. You can authenticate them and add them as part of your documents. |

freedomtours:For those requesting to know how Much is going to be the Portugal lawyer verification fee for the BSC holders(same with Hnd and those with o levels going for Bsc) It all depends on the region, below is the price by region West=250k South=280k North =300k East =250-270k. |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Olammi(m): 9:34am On Apr 23 |
freedomtours:I think there may be an error here you probably meant Portugal, not Poland, since Poland doesn’t carry out verification. Also, regarding NUC no longer verifying for BSc holders at the Portugal embassy, there hasn’t been any official memo yet. I’ll be at the embassy today to confirm this. |
Good day to you all, a quick one sir, do you have an idea on how much a "marriage certificate and 3birth certificate legalisation could be after going through the ministry of foreign affairs? Just wanna have a rough calculation of specific if possible? Tanx |

| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Olammi(m): 12:02pm On Apr 23 |

Marriage certificate cost varies by region and for attestation of birth is €20 per document just make sure you have a token because without the token they wont legalize it for you marriage certificate os always between 250k-300l |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Olammi(m): 12:45pm On Apr 23 |
Olammi:I confirmed today at the Embassy of Portugal that they will now begin charging verification fees for BSc certificates and transcripts, similar to what is already in place for OND, HND, and marriage certificates. However, I honestly don’t think this makes much sense. How are applicants expected to keep paying these additional fees when: There are currently no visa appointment slots available at VFS Global Admission into Portuguese schools is quite strict and limited Even after going through all these processes and paying the required fees, there’s still no guarantee of securing admission and even if admission is granted, visa appointments remain unavailable From my perspective, the entire process doesn’t seem well-coordinated or practical for applicants. |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by freedomtours(m): 3:47pm On Apr 23 |
Layohrt:Verification of marriage certificate is 250-300k, Legalization 20£ per documents as it has been stated earlier after authentication at the MOFA. |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by freedomtours(m): 8:34pm On Apr 23 |
HELLO GUYS PORTUGAL EMBASSY HAVE STARTED ACCEPTING THE NEWLY DIGITALIZE AUTHENTICATED CERTIFY TRUE COPY INTRODUCED BY MINISTRY OF EDUCATION WHICH THEY WERE NOT ACCEPTING BEFORE, BECAUSE THEY WERE REQUESTING A LETTER FROM MOE TO THAT EFFECT,. SO FOR THOSE WAITING FOR THIS NEWS THE CAN PROCEED WITH THEIR SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS FOR LEGALIZATION, IF YOU HAVE APPOINTMENT. THERE ARE INDICATIONS THAT EMBASSY MIGHT RELEASE VISA APPOINTMENT DATE THIS MONTH. |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by BabaIbo: 1:33pm On Apr 24 |
freedomtours:Please after paying this fee, are we still going to pay at the embassy for legalization? |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by BabaIbo: 1:44pm On Apr 24 |
freedomtours:Hello bro/sis, At this point I am somehow confused, I want to legalize about 6 documents, will I have to verify all of them and will that mean I will pay 250k for each of the documents because you said verification of marriage certificate is 250k,does that mean each document I want to verify will cost 250k(which is the price for west)? |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Olammi(m): 3:13pm On Apr 24 |
BabaIbo:What re the six documents you want to legalize |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by BabaIbo: 4:26pm On Apr 24 |

Pls I need a portugal uni where I can apply for a PhD |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by freedomtours(m): 6:21pm On Apr 24 |
BabaIbo:Yes after verification embassy will call you to come and legalize your documents, each documents legalization fee is 20£ per documents and they release the price every month. Attached is the current amt for this month for 2 documents ( Bsc&transcript).
|
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by freedomtours(m): 6:27pm On Apr 24 |
Olammi:I believe you are going for masters, it is ur bsc and transcript you will per for verification for now, you will only authenticate others, you don't need to apply for police character now, because it expires after 3 months, except if you gotten visa appointment date. So it is 250k above you are going to pay now because Bsc and transcript are one document. |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by yusman14(m): 8:30pm On Apr 24 |
Good day everyone I'm an Erasmus scholar and my first mobility is Portugal. With this new authentication development, they mentioned that the school should send academics transcript to the MoE but on the authentication website, there is an page to upload transcript. Which one should I follow and do I still need to tell my school to send verification letter to the ministry?
|
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Olammi(m): 9:04am On Apr 25 |
BabaIbo:Dont get yourself confused you dont need your waec since you going for a master program and fir your birth certificate just get attestation of birth Portugal dont accept birth certificate again ,get an attestation of birth and you do a token thats what they use for verification and for police report you dont need it for now because ot expires after three months and you dont pay for the verification so the only one you paying for the verification Bsc certificate and transcript Marriage certificate and for local government/state of origin...., your attestation of birth covers all |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by BabaIbo: 11:41am On Apr 25 |
Olammi:Thank you so much for the information. One more question boss/ma'am, shebi that 250,000 is for the 3 docs(i.e BSC cert, transcript and marriage certificate together) or I will pay 250k to verify each of them, which will give a total of 750k? |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Olammi(m): 11:53am On Apr 25 |
BabaIbo:Bsc certificate and transcript re together they re not charged separately they will only charge your two documents not three thats Bsc certificate, transcript and Marriage certificate |
| Re: Anyone Studying In Portugal!!!! by Olammi(m): 11:55am On Apr 25 |
yusman14:even if you upload your transcript, your school will still have tj send verification to them that they issue the certificate and transcript thats where it becomes complicated |
