To qualify for pgwp now, you have to do study 2yrs program. So, its not the same as 1yr.
Also, for the sake of PR which you're aiming, if you want to study business analytics, it should better be masters and not college program.

Do you have a specific question? Are there any schools or research areas you already have your eye on?
Which school can you recommend for me and any scholarship link?

Please can someone shed more light on this, if one is getting a monthly allowance from there spouse and has saved up enough to pay for there Canadian fees and also the allowance will continue even while she’s in Canada.
She also works but her salary is not essentially where her bulk of funds is from. And she earns yearly from her rental property.
Is there any need to add her spouse as sponsor or add any of his details like payment slip or employment letter since she’s paying her fees and all by her self.

She also intends on using her sister in the Uk as her sponsor although she’s using that to strengthen her application.
She got into the LPN program for internationally trained nurses since she’s a Nigerian nurse with diploma looking to broaden her existing knowledge.

Also I’m aware that applications from colleges are being denied a lot at the moment.
What’s the viability of her application being successful?

Also she has ties as she’s not going with her kids and husband.

How is A registered nurse going to school for practical nursing which is lower than RN that she already is, going to help help broaden her knowledge?

Oh. Thank you so much for this clarification. I think some of the schools I've been looking at are colleges offering graduate programs so this is good to know now. Do you have any advice regarding schools I can apply to for my master's program?

On your first page, create a table of content that shows the document name and page to make it easy for whoever is reading to trace. Then merge the documents accordingly. If you can label the heading of each doc, good. And if you cant, no problem. Just make sure your table of content matches each page.

Hello again guys, what's the best way to prove that a lump sum of 10m (third party PoF) is legit? What documents do I need to back it up?

Secondly, can I open a fresh bank account for the above. Note: I intend to apply ASAP as my program starts this fall and I don't want to lose my funding. Thanks for your help

Should she add her spouse as sponsor since she gets monthly allowance from him?
But she’s the one paying her fees and all expenses as she has funds saved up?
She does not want to add him as sponsor but instead wants to use her sister as her sponsor

Would this work or not?

Good day Everyone, I got into University of Toronto for a 2 year M.Eng In Mechanical and Industrial Engineering starting September 2026 and I have a few questions.

1. My tuition is CAD35,718 per year for 2 years while living expenses is CAD23,000 per year totalling CAD58,718 per year. My Father is my sponsor, he owns a business, in his business account he's got about #230,000,000 ~CAD232k and his personal account he's got about #30,000,000, ~CAD30k. Additionally, I have secured a loan of 41,000 USD which is what I actually want to use to pay my tuition while my father covers my living expenses. Do you think showing Loan + Business account + dad's personal account will be enough POF to convince IRCC? Do you think I should ask my dad to send about #30,000,000 more from his business account to personal so I can show #60,000,000 or more?

2. I did my undergrad in SA, graduated 2024 and been working since then, I'm leaving my job end of may to come apply for my study permit in Nigeria. When showing proof that I worked, is my employment letter and payslip enough? I'm asking because my previous expired passport with my work permit was lost and I have an affidavit that proves it.

3. How do I prove home ties because I'm single, not married, mid 20s? I plan to write about coming to manage my dad's business as he's in the manufacturing sector which aligns closely with industrial engineering. Is it compelling enough?
Whatever you want to write in your SOP, try your very best to avoid including that you stayed and worked in south Africa after schooling. And your real challenge now is not even financial but Home Ties. Trust me, it wont be easy for you to scale through that, you need God's grace.
You literally spent 2 more years in SouthAfrica after graduation, coming home now just when you are about to apply for Canada visa is a big red flag to IRCC.
To make your home ties strong, you need Marriage or Established business with CAC document and tax receipt....

There’s no where a Practical nurse is higher than a Registered nurse. The entry requirement to practice as an RN in Canada is a bachelor’s degree doesn’t mean diploma RN are less than RPNs in Canada. For context, same Canada lets diploma nurses from the US practice as RNs in most provinces besides Ontario. Diploma trained nurses in Canada who were RNs before they made the shift to a bachelor’s degree all still work as RNs. My friend who’s a US trained Diploma RN works as an RN in BC with no additional schooling. In fact, a lot of Canadian healthcare systems come to the US to recruit and I have attended a few of their events. So no, RPNs in Canada aren’t more knowledgeable than Nigerian RN. That notion is laughable at best. Ask your sister to take a look at her nursing school curriculum and go look at a Practical Nursing program curriculum.

Additionally, most provinces will take her in if she has a US license. Maybe she should consider writing Nclex and obtaining a US license. Getting a Canadian license afterwards would be way easier and more of an administrative process.

The point of all of this is that going for RPN after being an RN doesn’t show career progression. It shows desperation and a desire to live/work in Canada.

Is there a reason she’s not doing an Acelerated bachelor of science in Nursing program? It will cost almost the same amount and take almost the same time.

Good day everyone, please I need advice. I got admission into Lambton College Sarnia for a PGD in Business Analytics. I’ve confirmed it’s PGWP eligible on IRCC website, but I want to know how good this school and course are in terms of job opportunities and PR chances currently. Also, the school asked me to pay about $9,000+ ($2,000 for PAL and about $7,000 for first semester tuition) is this normal, and is the PAL deposit refundable if visa is refused? I’d really appreciate honest, up to date advice.

1. Employers care more about your expertise not school name THOUGH! Find out if the course has co-op it will really help.

2. School play little or no role in PR. You should be concerned with the course itself. Is it in-demand skill?

3. Some schools only ask for a deposit to get PAL/LOA. Some ask for one-year or a semester/term fees. So it's normal.

4. In most cases, yes. it's refundable. But before you make payment, send a mail to the school and confirm from them. They are the only right source to tell you if they will refund your money or not.

1. Bank wire through CIBC. but this require me to have an acct with CIBC
2. Credit/Debit card(Naira/Dollar). My bank said the highest I can transfer with card per month is $6k USD.

Your bolded statement above should be referred to Canadian government ,why nurses in US can practice in canada but not Nigeria Since they are required to pass other exams and Nclex exam and obtained license before they can practice, the point is the system will not value your credentials from Nigeria without further actions ..
And telling someone in Nigeria to take Nclex exam, you cannot take Nclex in Nigeria unless you obtain a visa or travel to other countries to take the exam, the only nearest destination is Kenya or south africa..

Hi, thank you so much for your response. But this is me genuinely asking, how does working legally in SA to gain a bit of experience after undergrad, hurtful to my application?🤔 Isn’t it potentially very dangerous to omit information on purpose counting as misrepresentation?🤔

With regards to home ties, so my father has a company, has his CaC,TCC, etc and his work is literally directly related to what I’m going to study hence I plan to write about coming back to help expand the family business? Thoughts?🤔

Well you can’t take most foreign licensing exams in Nigeria because Nigerians will bastardize the system and uncheck malpractice will be the other of the day.

Nigerian nurses have written and passed Nclex. If you can afford Practical nursing tuition in Canada, then you’re in a position to get a visa to SA, India, Philippines or even the UK to sit the exam.
