Why should he step down for anyone ?? Would OBI or TINUBU agreed to have stepped down for anyone? All this stepping down is the idea of obi supporters, that obi would never step down for anyone ever..... So he shouldn't look for an easy way to the presidency, cause first first he won't spell aso Rock. |

Atiku the greedy fellow will gladly allow Jagaban win the election because of his selfish interest. Tinubu just dey laugh North who are trying to clinch power after ruling for 8 solid years. South are not dumb like that |
| Re: Will Atiku Agree To Step Down For Anyone? by besticality: 8:44pm On Apr 26 |
I strongly doubt that Atiku will sacrifice his lifelong ambition for anyone, considering this is likely his last chance. His refusal will ultimately lead to the downfall of the opposition. |

So many frenemies infiltrating the coalisions now. Somehow, I think it's necessary to know what people care about when they post a supposedly caring messages. That's how dirty Nigeria politics has reached. They will do anything to snatch it, grab it and run away with it. |

Atiku doesn’t need to stop down. He should simply contest freely and fairly. Simple. His right to contest and take his chances. But he is old-school and can never change his ways. Nigeria does not need Atiku or his likes at this time. |

Atiku is not going to step down for anyone. Whosoever wins ADC presidential ticket, it doesn't matter, the party will scatter. Likewise Obi isn't going to step down for anyone |
| Re: Will Atiku Agree To Step Down For Anyone? by lost24: 8:47pm On Apr 26 |
He should not. He is right if he step down the election no go sweet. Even if ADC win 2027, they will fight and scatter in 2031. ADC can not be the only option nigeria have They are complaining about APC trying to make nigeria a one party state but They will be making same mistake for allowing all the old leader to be in one party. No strong opposition |

Should it be he must step down? ... or someone step up and above him? When a boxer holds a title ...does he step down to let someone else hold the title? ...or that person has to challenge him and earn the title? Entitlement mentality everywbere. |
| Re: Will Atiku Agree To Step Down For Anyone? by ibabz(m): 8:52pm On Apr 26 |
ify2016:On the contrary, the Obidients will allow Tinubu to win. I still don’t understand the logic, why should someone who secured over 7 million votes step down for a candidate whose chances have significantly declined? It’s also unclear how Obi is expected to pull more than 5 million votes from the South, especially when many governors have either defected or aligned with Tinubu. Elections aren’t won on emotion; they’re won through strategy. |

There is no good reason for him to step down for anyone. He is the strongest candidate to defeat Tinubu. Let him Obi step down for him and be his running mate. |
