Way to go. It's very wrong for these big companies trucks to wreak damage and get away with it leaving the victims to lick their wounds by themselves. |

jmoore:: what really happened was an unfortunate incident it not even if the accident was intentional or not. How BUA handled it was totally wrong, when you kill everyone who is suppose to be your customers how do stay in business. It was a good thing you guys engaged in negotiations and even suggesting practical solution. |

What is all this. That is the reason for insurance. Why are we so disorganised, so lawless in this country. We fight for the wrong things. Fight for a working, functional, equitable society of law, order and justice and relax. See insurance adverts in SA. Companies falling over themselves to offer all manner of incentives, some including a complimentary vehicle while you wait for the claims to be resolved. Don't we desire to see ease and function in our country. |
| Re: Anambra Residents Force BUA To Compensate Victim Before Transloading Goods by Reference(m): 9:27am On Apr 27 |
eagleonearth:Well that is the result of not having state or in this case local government police. What is vigilante. Get institutions that swear to uphold the law in place. The vigilante owes you nothing. They are commercial workers and will work for a fee. If insurance worked properly in this country that company will have the goods, the truck and the mission insured and even if you forget to dial for police intervention or feel as an individual you will not receive help, your insurance company will alert the police as soon as you inform them of the accident. We have a long way to modernizing our society. We suffer too many things because we cannot bring ourselves to organise ourselves. Compensations are not things to be negotiated in police stations, but by competent, professional representatives under the umbrella of the courts. |

Stop talking trash about your people betraying you for money. Every human being white or black, Yoruba or Hausa will betray you for money. Even your wife will betray you if the price is right. |
