No UCL Semis has ever had more than 7 goals in a game. Today we are seeing 9 and na just 1st leg. 😂😂😭

TheSuperNerd:
Both defences are on holiday. They both planned to attack and that is why this is so high scoring.

It is about who scores more. Lol

The stats ratings of defenders and GKs go cry today. grin

PSG vs Bayern was an exciting Goalfest. Both coaches stuck to their ultra attacking philosophies and it was classic for the ages.

Not sure we will see same between Atletico and Arsenal. Both coaches sabi Defensive Haram wella! Expect a tight game. Lol

This is Luis Enrique and Vincent Kompany after the game.

A Jose Mourinho, with his disciplined Compact defence and blistering counters, would had use either of them for Target practices,

Might even end up more than a goal fest

the psg could only muster a goal when they lost to the same bayern earlier in the season. Definitely both sides decided to abandon any defensive shape and just outright attack.

Imagine Osimhen getting these crosses..
We have to do everything possible to nail this Femi Azeez guy..
He will certainly elevate our game..

At the recent Afcon,

Cross to Osimhen vs Tunisia
Cross to Osimhen vs Algeria

Both led to goals. We have crosses coming to Osimhen already but mainly from the left. Femi Azeez's addition will only ensures it comes from the right more often.

True but Arsenal has not been exactly goals-lethal lately. Would be an interesting game where perhaps one or two goals decides it.

Looks like Home grown talents across Europe are about to get a breather.

FIFA is considering a proposal which would mandate all clubs to have at least one homegrown player from the under-20 or under-21 category on the pitch at all times.

A consultation process with all relevant stakeholders for the proposed obligation has been unanimously approved by the council, world football’s governing body said in a statement, and is set to be submitted to the FIFA Council in the next year.

Reigning APOTY for good reasons. Achraf Hakimi is indeed a top player. World Class.

Achraf Hakimi is the only defender in history to assist 5+ goals in back-to-back UCL campaigns

Meanwhile Benjamin Frederick is back and fully recovered from the surgery on his knee that sidelined him for months since November 2025.

He will return to Brentford for preseason where a decision will be made on his next step either on loan and reintegrated into the Brentford first team.
