Here Is Why President Tinubu Reversed Obasa's Impeachment In Lagos State by Olofofo247ng(op): 12:04am On Apr 30
DID YOU KNOW WHY TINUBU REVERSED OBASA'S IMPEACHMENT AS THE SPEAKER OF LAGOS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY? HERE'S WHY.

When Lagos state speaker Rt Hon. Obasa was removed last year through an impeachment..

We thought that was going to be the end.

But suddenly, an instruction came from Abuja and the impeachment was reversed.

People began to shout,"why nau... it's not supposed to be so. Let him go."

Well, that's idealistic mentality.

That's not politics.

See, all the people who have ruled Lagos after Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu have been pure technocrats.

Not politicians.

These are men who have been groomed on how to think and administer not how to politick.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has another school for his field Marshals, people like Obasa.

That people like Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo-Olu won elections was because men like Obasa that have street credibility exist.

Deputy Governor Dr Hamzat is going to become Governor in 2027 because of men like Obasa.

They're the ones who have boys in the streets.

They're the ones who command the loyalty of village men and women in those communities in Lagos.

Fashola, Ambode, Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat don't.

It's fuulisness to throw away your best men only for him to be captured by the opposition.

No true General does something like that.

Tinubu keeps his house in unity because he understands how to appease everyone.

Now read what Honourable Obasa wrote on Hamzat:

"I received my brother and friend, the Deputy Governor of our State, Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, today at my residence in GRA, Ikeja, as part of his ongoing consultations with leaders and stakeholders of our great party, the APC.

Our discussions were frank, strategic, and centered on the future of Lagos. Having just returned from Abuja, I can confidently say that the momentum is clear and the message is consistent — Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat is well-positioned to lead Lagos to greater heights.

As Speaker, I will continue to galvanise my political structure and work with like-minded leaders to ensure victory at the polls. Lagos deserves continuity, stability, and progress, and I am fully committed to that course.

Together, we will win."

Did you notice where he said he just came back from Abuja?

Remember he has always wanted to contest Governor in 2027?

So obviously Tinubu invited him to Abuja, perhaps promised him that he's still going to be the speaker in 2027.

That appeased him and the house is united to win again.

See, if you want to understand how to run your family, your business, your organization...

Remove your emotions and study how TINUBU runs and manages conflicts in his family and organization.

Imagine a highly political family where you have first lady, senator Remi Tinubu, Iya Oloja and Seyi and yet we hear no wars going on between them.

That tells you something about the leadership abilities of Tinubu.

If you like keep being emotional.

Don't learn.

What is the calibre of these "boys in the street"? They are the main reason criminality still persists all over the country. They are the ballot box snatchers and always make sure elections in Nigeria go against people's choices. An average Nigerian politician, irrespective of political parties, has foot soldiers in the street that ensure his will comes to reality, no matter the cost, this isn't something to boast about, it is just societal failure, what a country 💔😡

Nothing worth to emulating about criminal holding people for a ransom just because you find your way to public funds.

Yes Tinubu keeps men like Obasa who have boys in the streets to slap, molest and beat up indigenes who dare to mention Peter Obi, mention ADC or mention PDP.

This post has been made to pamper and glorify election thuggery and intolerance to opposition.

Correct talk. Lived most of my life (from early teens) in the UK. Relocated to Naija a few years ago to establish a few businesses that are now doing well.

I am the envy of all my friends in the UK who visits Nigeria regularly and love the near excellent work, leisure and life balance Lagos offers if one is doing well that I enjoy full-time whereas they are miserable because of poor weather and lives that feel designed for work and paying bills alone in UK and Europe.

For one thing, you will never be able to buy land in London and build your dream home whereas I have purchased 4 different plots of land (minimum 500 SQM) of land in Lagos Island that have climbed up to 600% in value over 3 years.

Leisure , nightlife and dining etal, is the best in Lagos and far superior to anything Europe has to offer. I have a driver in the week and drive myself weekends. I dare not contemplate employing a driver in the UK. Not affordable.

A productive week ends with me driving to one of the nice resort around Lagos on Friday (La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort being one of my favourite) with any slim-thick beauty free that weekend.😎

People should not even get me started on food which Nigeria has the best of in the whole world, courtesy of sheer variety and being near organic, and I say this as a well-travelled sea food lover (very expensive in Europe) who has visited at least 25 nations of the world in and out of Africa.

This is why I keep telling some here on NL to focus on developing themselves and becoming successful instead of going around crying every day barking rabidly at every rich and successful person.

You want Seyi Tinubu lynched and Yusuf Buhari exiled but never understand their father conquered generational poverty the family now enjoys.

As someone who has lived a majority of his life in the west, I can say with 💯 % certainty that it is the poorer quality of Lebanese, Indians, Brits, Korean, Chinese, Americans etal who come to Nigeria to make money.

Tell young Nigerians to focus more on being solutions-providers, rather than being negative alone and always, so they can utilise the opportunities foreigners are trooping in to take advantage of and they insult you as is done to me daily here with "data boy" and "Tinubu hireling" slurs.

How many Lebanese, Chinese etal do you see suffering in Nigeria despite the fact many are not better off (education or ability-wise) than Nigerians?

The difference is that they see the myriads of opportunities on offer in States like Lagos, unavailable in their own nation, that most Nigerians, wallowing in misery and self-pity, can never spot.

Look at Fouani LG that is Lebanese-owned franchise authorised to sell LG electronics in Nigeria and West Africa.

I have already worked out a model with a British electronic firm to do similar and will market our Stores ( 2 to begin with in Lagos and Ogun State initially) under the banner of that firm.

I am not even deploying 5% of my own money. All I brought to the table was a mind that is open, optimistic, ambitious and can spot solutions.

Lagos has 23 million folks. It is one of the biggest consumer market in Africa. It is not difficult to raise finance for genuine and profitable niche ideas leveraging on taking even 10 Naira each , regularly, from a good percentage of that 23 million.

Today, I only go back and forth to the UK. Love the nation but can never ever live there or in any Western nation. Living in Nigeria and Lagos, these past few years, has opened my eyes to the real beauty of life.

If I want a holiday outside Nigeria, I will head to Seychelles, Kenya, Mauritius, Madagascar, Cape Coast Ghana , Gambia etc but never the West haven done Spain, USA, Europe etal to death in my twenties and cannot now justify comparing them to some African nations for pure pleasure, beautiful people, food, nature and financial cost.

The sooner Nigerian young men and women begin focusing on developing themselves and gaining solutions-provision skills, instead of moaning all day and waiting on government, the closer a fab life is. A fab life that delivers two fab things. Personal success and contribution to the success of your nation.

Nigerians, stop being so frigging negative. "Lagos smells" etc. Yet Idris Elba and Didier Drogba proclaimed it "most fabulous city in the world".

I am amazed when unexposed and bitter haters slag off Lagos. Is it me who has been a londoner majority of his life, and has visited New York and many top cities of the world, who does not know what a great city is?

Od course Lagos has problems but also a lot of positives too . Why then not get skills to make Lagos etal better, as young people elsewhere in the world would do, instead of always highlighting negatives alone?

Below is a Ugandan social media personality gushing about Abuja. Yet all you people know is negativity, bitterness and insults.

While not taking anything away from your write-up, don't you think your earlier exposure to western countries with the financial chest gathered gave you an edge over Nigerians that haven't gone out?

Also, compared to citizens, how do those foreigners come in with enough resources to take over sectors of the economy, not forgetting most of them have security officials guarding them 24/7... Atleast those in my area, which I'm sure doesn't come cheap
