Constant power supply
You must be lucky to be part of the 150 million Nigerians enjoying adequate power supply for the past 11 years of APC change promised by Fashola and Buhari, which Adelabu Pẹnkẹlẹmẹs confirmed last year April. .

How soon do you expect the remaining 25% of us to get adequate power supply like you, based on how APC administrations of Buhari and Tinubu have borrowed more than PDP administrations, despite removing subsidy twice huh

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has disclosed that the federal government has so far saved the sum of N1.4 trillion for not paying oil subsidy.

He also assured Nigerians that very soon, the foreign exchange market would stabilise going by some radical policies already introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The vice president who spoke in Kano yesterday during the third day of the 15th Joint Planning Board and National Council on Development meeting, urged Nigerians to restore confidence in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, insisting that soonest, the current economic problems would become a thing of the past.

“With the deregulation of the downstream petroleum sector, there has been a significant increase in the availability of petrol throughout the country for the savings of N1.4 trillion on subsidy payments alone,” he said.

“Also, a more flexible exchange rate regime, we will have to decrease the pressure on the external reserve. In the short run of course, there should be consequences for inflation. We expect that with greater priority we have seen in the implementation of the policy by the CBN, the foreign exchange market will stabilise and confidence will be restored.

you forgot to replace bearings and bell mouth for the circulating water pump along with insulation testing for the motor. Why not buy a complete pump?

This is bad news.
The required repairs is going to be expensive.

Infact they would need to contact the manufacturer because I don't think there would be modular replacements for some parts.

For the circulating water pump. They must now replace impellers, shafts, seals, and wear rings. Along with filters, valves and expansion joints. All those types of big scale plumbing jobs (na crane this plumber go take work). I think they might have a problem with their electrical component too, so they will quote them motor rewind or even replacement.

That other one is even worse. Gas turbine compressor might just need washing. Worse if it's not just Blade/vane whala and they need rotor replacement. Very expensive of they want to quote them full compressor module replacement. I hope it's the easiest option.

Even after that one. They will need to now change oil, check auxiliary systems, do this, do that, before they are cleared to switch it back on.

It will be expensive sha. But maybe just 2 weeks to 3 months.

Why can't electricity be local? ... this national grid thing is not working. 24/7 electric is basic in the 20th century. The first quarter is finished in the 21st century.... and we're struggling ... with fading hopes .... to get the 20th century basic right.

Nigeria should be on Netflix Infact it should be in series.
Power ❌
Security❌
We keep failing in the most important thing that should be available and accessible.

There are several reasons why Tinubu and Adelabu shouldn’t win in the next election but 1kg of rice has blinded so many people…they should continue in their foolishness and stupidity.

But these Nigerian power generation and distribution companies, are they not aware that there must be downtimes due to various unforseen occurrences and have a backup plan ahead for times like this like it is done in other nations of the world?

When will black people have the wisdom to run a functional nation by themselves?
It's not about wisdom, they know what to do but wickedness won't make them do the needful.

They already have backup power in their houses so they don't care.

Ever since Dangote completed his refinery in 2023 and increased fuel prices, all our power plants have been systematically sabotaged so that nigerians will be forced to buy expensive Dangote fuel just to prevent their soup in the fridge from getting sour.

Remember for every 1 naira Dangote profit from his refinery, the Nigerian government makes 52 kobo.

This deliberate sabotage is exactly what happened to our refineries during the fuel subsidy era.

When you engage the wrong people because of certificates and strong political backgrounds, without any prior technical knowledge.. the end result Will state the obvious.

Engineering is about system maintenance and backup management.

I am yet to see a complete working system in Nigeria... We just they chant A.I .. we are not ready.

A country where the presidential house is run by solar power.....

Very ironic indeed and a big proof of failure in the power sector.
