Funnily, this should be my first response to the Xenophobic attacks going on in South Africa for quite some time now I just deliberately not put mouth because severally on this forum, I talked about how the South Africans are getting carried away by not controlling their emotions towards other African people. Even when you are engaging with some of them on this forum, they have this tone of being disrespectful while at the same time lack comprehension in discussing issue Since after Apartheid government was sent packing in SA, can the blacks who have been ruling the country point out to major achievements they have done to develop South Africa or South Africans? or how many jobs opportunity they have created? South Africa supposed to even be a visa free to reasonable number of Africa countries due to the role they played during apartheid regime. They claimed immigrants are taking their jobs, which jobs have they South Africans created for themselves? 70% of South Africa wealth is being controlled by less than 10% white South Africans, infact there are some areas in SA that blacks are not allowed to enter. Mandela Tax was introduced in Nigeria, I mean Nigerians are being taxed in order to raise funds for the politicians in South Africa to fight the white regime, Ghanaians school children from primary to secondary to tertiary went on protest in support of the same black South Africans. Tanzania, Angola, Zimbabwe all sacrificed a lot for sacking the apartheid government. Should we say some South Africans have a short memory or they are just ungrateful for treating those who stood by them during trying time. Without their input, the apartheid government would have ruled for reasonable years. |

Finally our government is protecting her citizens, if this has been done long ago, most countries will be respecting us. Every government should be concerned when her citizens are treated badly by other countries. |

Long overdue. Please no one should be smiling with him o. I don't like that photos that Nigeria always does, where you then see them coming out from the meeting and sharing white teeth. |

The South African government clearly supports these xenophobic attacks;they happen almost every year and yet not a single arrest is ever made. |

The blacks are not as smart If not for their neighbors they will still be under the full force of the whites. Funny thing is that they still are. Instead of them to fight for equal rights. They're busy fighting for crumbs |

While I condemn the xenophobic attacks on foreigners, I will want to tell our chest beating brothers too to abide by rules of places they reside in and stop all the crime they get themselves involved with. If you have not been out of Nigeria, you would say our brothers are innocent of all the allegations. I have been out of Nigeria, in fact I am presently outside Nigeria. Our chest beating brothers are involved in shaddy businesses which is the root cause of hatred towards Nigerians. I witnessed it live in 2010 when I travelled to SA. Majority are into selling drugs and 419 deals. This is a fact. That apart, when this people make the illegal money, they dont stay quiet. They are loud and they brag about wealth all the time. Imagine making dirty money and you cant keep your head low. The same bragging brought the act of installation of a KING in another person's country. Like I told some guys, there is no KING without a kingdom. The word Kingdom was derived from the word King. Now, are you saying you are creating a KINGDOM in a foreign land? Who does that? Why cant our guys keep their heads low and live life without making noise? That singular act started all these attacks on Nigerians and other foreign citizens who are innocent and law abiding. Let us talk to ourselves too. What the South Africans are doing is evil. But some people have involved themselves in evil acts before the animalistic side of the South African came out. SAD. |

StoryHaven:Bro, this is not about abiding by the South Africa Rules. I have been there before. I am not trying to be disrespectful, but South Africans are Lazy most especially their men. If they secured a decent job, chilling and flexing will eventually take the job from them. A serious minded business owner wouldn't want to employ someone that will be coming to work 3 times in a week when the immigrants are ready to do 7 days work without minding being pay less. Those who are leading the anti immigrants protest, how many jobs have they created themselves? Would any productive person leave his own job to be chasing the other African fellows who fought for your own freedom. 2 years ago on this forum, when I said the likes of South Africa are using old glory as nothing new in terms of development is going on there, people don't understand. The current development structure in South Africa was laid down by the whites during the apartheid, which development plans have the black South African made or created? South Africa currently, which sectors can the South Africans generally point out to that's working perfectly in their country? They are just channeling their energy on wrong people. Who are the alternatives to the current government, Malema, Zuma and co . Their long way to go is far than Kuvuki land |

helinues:No government or people in the world over will chase out immigrants from their country on the allegations that they are taken over their jobs. The reverse is usually the case. South Africa is not the only country where Nigerians resides, it's just that their tolerance level is quite low, Very soon the youths if not the government of Asian countries will start chasing Nigerians out of their countries because of the uncourteous attitude of our chest beating brothers, |

Xenophobic people, they only know how to harass black foreigners but can't harass their slave masters. |

What have you been waiting for? Give him a "persona non - grata"and send him back to his xephonophobic country. That's the best way to pass your message to them. |

StoryHaven:That's why there are laws and law enforcement agencies in countries to help fight and prosecute all forms of vices in a country. Do you want all nations of the world to apply the SA treatments were homes are ransacked and people are killed all in the name of trying to purge the country of illegal immigrants? Their approach is barbaric and condemnable! Allow law enforcement agencies to do their job and fish out drug peddlers, illegal immigrants, and the rest, so as not to bring unrest and instability. Those South Africans carrying out such protest and attacks on foreigners are completely wrong and unlawful in all reasoning! |

StoryHaven:While you are right about the Nigerians abroad there's a wider issue that is the level of casual violence in SA. It isn't just Nigerians being targeted there, anyone can become a victim in SA due to how unequal it is. |

helinues:We can point to more than two achievements but then again you'll just move goal posts and credit oyinbo in a typical Nigerian fashion. Doesn't work like that.Just because few of our people chose exile and were living in some of these countries then y'all think the rest of us must carry the burden of living with criminals from all over Africa in our communities? If y'all are owed then why don't your leaders to tell the ANC to write them a check so that this exile blackmail can be put to rest? Besides Orania which is a private enclave in the desert can you name a town or city that black South Africans are not allowed to be at? I'll give you enough time. The biggest tax that paid for SA to be free was the blood and sweat of our forefathers. They are the ones who went toe to toe with Africa's most powerful military at the time.I never heard of a Nigerian or Ghanaian who came to SA to fight alongside our people so just stop it right the with overplaying your importance in liberating South Africa. |
| Re: Acting South African High Commissioner Summoned Over Attacks On Nigerians by Kewekubosineh: 4:55pm On May 03 |
helinues:Well said 💯🙏 Unfortunately, new generation of South Africans don't know the role played by Nigerians and other African countries in their liberation struggle. |
| Re: Acting South African High Commissioner Summoned Over Attacks On Nigerians by Kewekubosineh: 5:08pm On May 03 |
It's long overdue. The madness started long ago and shops/warehouses were looted under the pretext of enforcing undocumented foreigners laws. The Federal government should have protested earlier when the lazy Doles were busy molesting foreigners. At least, Nigeria remains the mouthpiece of oppressed Africans anywhere they may be. The new generation of South Africans don't know the contributions Nigeria made towards their freedom. Hence the incessant bully on her citizens. It's time to teach South Africans the lesson of excessive effrontery. Enough of humiliation of Nigerian citizens! |

JaceBlaze:See as how you are struggling to defend this. The Westerners who are in South Africa, are they there because their country is underdeveloped? Why haven't you sent them packing? Read up the role several African countries played in your liberation from the apartheid government |
| Re: Acting South African High Commissioner Summoned Over Attacks On Nigerians by JaceBlaze: 7:28pm On May 03 |
helinues:Are the "Westerners" standing on corners all day selling drugs, doing human-trafficking and running Internet scams? the day you see one please remind me. All I know is that there is no bigger payment than the loss of life and physical torture my people went through here in SA,so whatever you think your government paid can be repaid by check. |

JaceBlaze:Are the Itas foreigners? Are the inkabi foreigners as well? What have you people done to reduce insecurity in SA that as a South African living in South Africa, it would be hard for you not to have experienced robbery, attacks by hoodlums. I have been been there before so I know what I am talking about. Your leaders then came to us for help, without the help them, may be your likes wouldn't have had access to the internet today. I asked again, ever since Black South Africans have been ruling the country, tell us their major projects and achievements. Are you aware South Africa can't even borrow money anyhow as you are indebted to so many financial institutions. What have your black president done with the loans obtained that your likes today are blaming the foreigners? Had your government spent the money judiciously, may be those who are seeing the foreigners as threat to their lives would have been fully employed and mind the progress of their own life without blaming others for their misfortunes |

SA would rather ejaculate over Israel matters than handle their domestic problems. How can a country let this go on for months without bringing it to order except they want it to continue. coputa: |
