Chasing the wind as usual, nothing new.

After all said & done him & his supporters as usual will again blame their political Master President Tinubu , for the political misadventures of Gringory Obi.
Chasing the wind? Interesting take, because what you’re calling misadventures is literally how alliances are built in politics. That same move you dismiss is exactly what created the possibility you’re now reacting to.

But instead of dodging, channel that energy into something useful.

tell Nigerians what Tinubu has actually done to deserve a second term. Break it down clearly. How his regime have positively impacted the lives of ordinary Nigerians

Because right now, you are buying fuel at painfully high prices, using that same fuel to power generator just to charge your phone, because Tinubu has failed woefully on the promise of stable electricity, and then using the same phone to defend the very system putting you in this precarious situation.

If that’s the hill you want to stand on, at least explain why it makes sense. At this point, the reasoning deserves to be questioned as much as the argument.

The ADC chieftains should not allow obi and kwankwaso to leave their party or else, the ADC will be reduced to nothing, that time, they will realize that atiku is a spent force that has very little or no electoral value, every reasonable politician knows that atiku stands no chance against tinubu that is why majority of the people urging him on are mainly south west apc supporters
Re: Atitku Has Succeeded In Destroying Another Main Opposition Party- Donald Duke by oyichi: 11:40am On May 03
The only people that wants atiku as ADC flag bearer are tinubu's men

PresidentMUGABE:
Atiku ran for president in 2007 with Ben Obi as his vice and got 2,637,848 votes.
He ran again in 2019 with Peter Obi as his vice and got 11,262,978 votes (won but rigged out).
Then in 2023, he ran with Ifeanyi Okowa as his vice and got 6,984,520 votes.
All Igbo men.

People keep saying Atiku is the one who made Obi popular. Abeg, make I ask: why are Ben Obi and Okowa not popular? Is it not the same Atiku they all ran with, abi na walk them walk with am?

If you check am well, na Obi even help Atiku’s political career. His highest popularity and biggest vote share came when he was with Obi.

The only man that has demistified the power of money in Nigeria politics and the worship of bigmanism rather than character is Peter Obi..

Peter Obi is the only reason no politician is bragging and boasting presently with money, with structure, with illegality and with snatch and run mentality (Rigging)

He brought sanity, civility and integrity to Nigeria political space....

The best should govern not the worst in the society.......

98% of Nigeria youths who are tired of the old order and political bigmanism are patiently waiting with their PVC.

Peter Obi is not Wike that can be connered.....

The only weapon fashioned against 2027 election outcomes is the continuous appointment of professors as INEC Chairman.

In other saner countries, professors are noble people that society emulates and lookup to. Here in Nigeria, they have ridiculed themselves because of greed to be rigging elections for politicians.

Same professors who frowned at examination malpractices in our citadel of learning....are now tools for manipulation and electoral fraud.

Nigeria will definitely be great again...
Good analysis. It's quite obvious that APC is depending on a weak opposition so they can have an easy sail but more disappointing is that the opposition figures, whether it's Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso etc cannot plan long term. Yes, APC is accused of planting moles but if they knew the game, they ought to have prepared for this. All the people who won with Obi's wave in 2023 in legislature, how many of them are still in Labour? It shows that most of these people lack character and we will keep repeating the same mistake even if Obi wins. Most of them are opportunists. They only want a platform to win.

For your Obi reference and who made him popular, I've written something like that in the past. There's a reason APC is more afraid of the so-called 3rd position in the election than Atiku who they said came second. There's a reason Wike is FCT minister because APC did not win Rivers and knowing the politician the President is, Kano, Rivers and Lagos are important states. Rivers was the only state he declared a state of emergency for despite all the killings elsewhere. He didn't win FCT and now Wike is there and even threatening all, including Kingibe that they will not win like that. Some people are banking on electoral manipulation and thuggery like we saw in Rivers state. That Rivers was very disappointing because they didn't even put effort to change the results, they did it blindly and the whole nation kept quiet. Last week, they flew the kite that Sanwo-Olu may not complete his 8 years. They don't trust him, they suspect he could be working for Atiku. Achimungu then went on Channels TV to talk. Someone said only Tinubu and Yakubu know the real result of the 2023 elections 👇

SixSeven:
Atiku was elected Governor on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in January 1999. After the Obasanjo-Atiku ticket won the February 27, 1999, presidential election, Atiku became the Vice President of Nigeria.

I'm the same person who wrote this below and you will see how I feel Atiku's chances are low but to say he has never won and never governed, that's not correct 😐 👇

Aside Obi and Kwankwanso, no other politician has been able to prove themselves ALONE outside the establishment.

Repost👇

Obi has the brightest chance going by the last election result followed by Kwankwanso. I choose these two because they left PDP and did not have the structure of the regular party, which Atiku benefitted from using the PDP platform. You also have to look at the time they had to test themselves between the election primaries and election.

If you want to know what that means, Ribadu ran the Presidential election in 2011 under AC and failed with that party structure. Obi and Kwankwanso have been able to test their popularity as candidates outside the regular establishments and done well. Both had no Governors in their party before contesting and pulled a good number in the last election. Buhari used his CPC to bargain with AC to get the Presidential slot in APC. Buhari could say whether he used ANPP or CPC, he could gather votes. I'm not so sure Atiku can do that. He was a presidential candidate of the Action Congress in the 2007 presidential election coming in third to Umaru Yar'Adua of the PDP and Muhammadu Buhari of the ANPP. Atiku came a distant third in that election with less than 10% of the votes.

Obi and Saraki/Kwankwanso

A Saraki will be a difficult campaign for APC that has defaulted to using tribes against themselves. Saraki ticks two boxes of Yoruba/North Central who have been looking for relevance since Gowon.

Here is the stats of the declared winners since 1999. Mr Bola Ahmed tinubu was not a popular president elect

Here is the brief, factual list of Nigeria’s presidential election winners since 1999, including each winner’s name and the percentage of valid votes they received.

1999 – Olusegun Obasanjo: about 62.78% of valid votes.

2003 – Olusegun Obasanjo: about 61.94% of valid votes.

2007 – Umaru Musa Yar’Adua: about 69.60% of valid votes.

2011 – Goodluck Jonathan: about 58.87% of valid votes.

2015 – Muhammadu Buhari: about 53.96% of valid votes.

2019 – Muhammadu Buhari: about 55.60% of valid votes.

2023 – Bola Ahmed tinubu: about 36.6–37% of valid votes.

A United opposition will defeat tinubu before the election begins. With a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiide margin. There is no need to argue about that.

Fact: Tinubu remains the most unpopular president to have won the Presidential elections. He is the easiest to kick out. Back then, PDP told AC, CPC and opposition parties when they were reigning that to kick us out, you need to unite as opposition. That's what they learned in 2015.

Atiku performance has been poor.
Atiku does not appeal to the youth and going by stats, they are the major voting bloc and will be the only ones to want to come out because whether you like it or not, Tinubu is planning on swimming through voter apathy in 2027. Many of these candidates need to retire, including Obi himself. A child born in 1999 is now 27 and would have gone through his adult life hearing about Tinubu and Atiku. A child born in 1993 when Atiku first contested is now telling his own child that Atiku is the future. How? Let me remind you again

Now that Buhari is dead, he thinks the North will vote for him and all he needs is someone who will help him get Southern votes.

In the three times he appeared on the general ballot for the presidency, Atiku Abubakar received

- 2,637,848 votes (7.47%) in 2007 to finish third,

- 11,262,978 votes (41.22%) in 2019 to finish second, and

- 6,984,520 votes (29.07%) in 2023 to finish second once again.

In the first time the candidate he contested with in 2019 (that gave Atiku his highest vote ever) went to test his popularity in 2023, tell me what was the numbers that candidate got. Obi gave him his best result in 2019 and Obidients today will not be behind Obi himself as Vice. Atiku is repeating the same mistake of the last election, it's not the time of the North. If he forces his way, the likes of Momodu and Okonkwo will happily help him spend his money on a fool's paradise.

That is a myth believed by u Obidients, who are 98% majority Igbo.
It was the votes of the igbos he got in Lagos that made him win baaaa.

Kee sleeping on a bicycle. There are many reasonable Nigerians from every tribe and the yorubaa are not left out. It was the votes of the yoruba living in Lagos that gave Obi victory.

You think everybody is bigoted and tribalistic when it comes to survival.

The Christian Yorubas gave him their votes because of Muslim Muslim ticket ran by Bola Tinubu, yet Gringory Obi still failed.

Oga na Master, after the general election in 2027 he will retire to country home in Agulu.

The reality is now staring you people in the face. No reasonable southerner should have anything to do with Atiku Democratic Congress in the first place. That's why I said that Obi made a big mistake leaving the Labour Party
If Peter Obi had remained in LP the trouble would have still be brewing, those soulless guys like Abure and his cohorts will not leave him alone + the external force, you know what I mean. Unless you are not looking towards that direction.

There are still other opposition political parties apart from PDP and ADC. Here are a few.

Leaving the Labour Party wasn’t a mistake, it set the stage for today’s Obi–Kwankwaso alliance. Without that move, this wouldn’t exist.
