Our National Legal Adviser resigned from the APM since last year.

There is no discrepancy of membership or legal issues.

INEC just forgot to update APM’s details on their website.

See his letter of resignation from the party and as National Legal adviser attached.

I disagree that INEC forgot to update the details on their portal since last year. They deliberately allowed the same name to appear twice with two different political parties. They did it on purpose. INEC is too biased and compromised.

NDC'S LEADERSHIP BASED ON COURT ORDER.

Clarification..

Seriake Dickson and a few persons started the journey of registering the NDC in 2017 under the leadership of the former INEC chairman prof M. Yakubu.
After successfully registering the party, INEC challenged their use of two fingers in the Air ✌️ (Peace) as their logo. INEC claimed that the NDC's party logo resembles that of the APC's (broom)
Note, this claim wasn't made by APC as a political party, neither did APC as a party challenged the NDC over the use of two fingers in the Air. It was solely INEC that raised that concern, and challenged the NDC on their own.
INEC now mandated the NDC to change that logo, or it will delegitimize them as a political party.
"That INEC will not recognise them as a political party unless they change that logo of two fingers in the Air ✌️ to something else". Mind you, when INEC was doing all of these, the NDC was just a mushroom party without any political presence.
NDC as a small party wrote to INEC to clarify the issues concerning their logo, that it has nothing in semblance with that of the APC's logo, which is clearly a broom.
Rather than seeing reasons with the NDC over their logo issue, INEC went ahead to enforce her early threat by delegitimizing the NDC. INEC refused to recognise NDC as a political party, or her leadership.
NDC as a party felt they were being bullied by INEC over nothing. They were particularly confused over INEC's real interest in their logo, and that of the APC. They wondered why INEC was crying foul over their two fingers in the air logo, when the APC as a party has neither complained nor challenged the logo.
Left with no option, the NDC headed to the Federal High Court to challenge INEC over the party's logo, their delegitimizing, and the none recognition of the party's leadership.
The case dragged on until 2025 when the Federal High Court gave a clear ruling in favour of the NDC, haven been able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that it's logo has no semblance with that of the APC.
The court went further to order INEC to recognise NDC as a political party, accept her logo, and recognise her leadership. It was a straight judgement and order. INEC had a window free period to challenged that judgement, if it weren't satisfied with it. But rather than challenge the judgement, INEC now under the new leadership of prof Amupitan recognised NDC as a political party, accepted her logo, and recognized her leadership.
It is based on that court judgement and order, you see on INEC's website, the names and positions of NDC leaders boldly written (BY COURT ORDER)
Now the sweet part of this judgement/order is that, the only party or interst that can challenge this judgement is INEC. Not APC, not even the Attorney General of the Federation. The only legal interest in that case of NDC vs INEC is INEC.
And the goodnews is, the legally approved window free period for INEC to appeal that judgement has elapsed. So INEC can not appeal that judgement again, or vacate that order. Moreover INEC has enforced the judgement of the Federal High Court.

So there is no cause for alarm over NDC's leadership being displayed on INEC's website BY COURT ORDER.

Obi left LP, all of a sudden their is calm in LP. Lamidi Apapa is no longer raring his ugly head.

Obi has left the ADC, watch how the government of the day will drop all its litigation against the party in order to have a three-horse race election in 2027.

Already, he's begging them not to go to court, because of their internal issues. When his mob comes and behave wild as usual and the landlords go to court, they'll blame government. Their court case info is readily available on INEC website. Obi knows but will later blame Tinubu.
ALL occupied positions are by court order. From national chairman to national secretary to national treasurer and so on. All have been to court. You saw all these before you came in. SMH

In primary school, they taught us to look before you leap. i don't know maybe Obi and his followers never went to good primary schools. Nigeria really "happened to them".

Online, we already see letter issued and received on 5th December 2025 but bearing NBA seal issued to expire in March 2027.

As a lawyer and member of NBA, NBA seal are issued yearly to expire the following year. The NBA seal issued to expire in March 2027 can only be produced and issued in January 2026 and could not have been attached to a letter dated December 2025.

This raises a serious issue of forgery and backdated letter. It can equally put the concerned lawyer in a serious professional misconduct trouble before the Legal Practitioners’ Disciplinary Committee.

Na new Nigeria be this? All these content creators parading themselves as opposition.

You bought expensive fuel to power your generator to charge your phone and you are using same phone to praise those that caused you suffering. Even if you are one of their data boys, the stipend they give to you is enough to take care of you and family? Is it enough to provide security for yourself?

If Kwankwaso has no qualms throwing Atiku and all other senior coalition members that went to Kano to personally receive him, under the bus by leaving in just 6 weeks, is it Peter Obi he will now be loyal to? Don't forget he held series of meetings with Tinubu just before Abba defected. He was set to become Tinubu's Vice but apparently Tinubu had other plans on how to utilise him. Obi might have just set the Southeast back politically by a few years.

The emergence of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), reportedly under Seriake Dickson, has allegedly sparked a direct confrontation with the All Democratic Alliance (ADA), which is now preparing legal action against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). What should have been a routine administrative procedure has escalated into a critical test of the integrity of Nigeria’s electoral system.

Dr. Umar Ardo has voiced a blunt claim: a party that allegedly did not apply, was not shortlisted, and did not undergo verification has somehow obtained a registration certificate. If even partially true, this represents more than a procedural lapse—it suggests a structural breach.

According to the timeline ADA presents, out of 171 associations, INEC shortlisted 14, with only eight advancing to verification. ADA maintains that they followed all rules, attended the required stages, yet were excluded.

Meanwhile, the NDC, they assert, was absent from this process entirely.

INEC’s defense—that the registration was issued under a court order—is now under intense scrutiny. Court orders require proper filings, representation, and justification. If any of these elements are missing or unclear, both the process and its outcome risk being questioned.

This issue is larger than a dispute between two parties. It goes to the heart of process integrity. If political registration can be altered outside transparent procedures, the gatekeeping role of INEC—and public trust in it—comes under threat.

ADA’s move to obtain Certified True Copies from the Federal High Court in Lokoja indicates that this matter will not be quietly resolved. It is heading toward a legal and public accountability test.

There are only two possible outcomes: either the process is validated with clear, verifiable evidence, or it collapses under scrutiny. There is no compromise that preserves credibility in between.

This is not merely about one party’s registration. It is a direct challenge to the rules governing political participation. If those rules are seen as flexible for some and rigid for others, the implications extend far beyond this case—striking at the very foundation of electoral justice in Nigeria.

All the opposition in Nigeria are so selfish and useless. That's why Tinubu can afford to even do anyhow. He's smart but they make him look genius. We need better opposition to make government give its best, but we only have opposition that make silly unpatriotic attempts to pull us all down.
It's a problem between APM and NDC. A problem there because they can't do things properly. Your lawyer can't resign properly from his former job. National chairman, court problem. Treasurer, court problem. National secretary, court problem.
A simple google check by anyone saves you from this embarrassment. But no. Na Tinubu cause am. Even if rain falls, na Tinubu. If your generator pack up, na still Tinubu. And we must support this kind of emptiness to solve Nigeria's problems.

He resigned and no formal letter was written to INEC to delist the name on the server until someone have to make it public.

The resignation was never communicated to the INEC. That's why INEC portal is showing dual names of the same individual. When he resigned from APM, he supposed to copy INEC even if his former party failed to do so.
